The cable is amongst an electricity

Precise knowledge about the

current condition of the cable is

thus most important. Partial

discharge diagnosis to evaluate

local weak points as well as the

integrated diagnosis of the

insulation provides the basics for

correct maintenance measures

and investment decisions.

Installation faults are reliably

revealed using VLF and DC test

systems.

Cable fault location

Faults are the "natural enemy" of

reliability. The innovative SebaKMT

products make it possible to

quickly localise cable faults without

causing damage to fault-free parts

of the cable.

Leak detection

For leaks in a pipe network very

quick action is required to prevent

a large volume of valuable drinking

water from being lost.

To locate cables, pipes and metallic

objects as well as for sounding out

a site and routing lines, SebaKMT

We have developed the most

modern innovative technology for

fault location on power supply

cables for quick and reliable

success. Examples of our tech-

nology are ICEplus pre-location in

low voltage supply networks and

ARM, active arc pulse technique.

From small reflectometers (TDR)

up to customised test vans built

to customer specifications, we offer

our customers a comprehensive

product portfolio for all imaginable

problems.

Communications networks

Success factor – speed.

This is true both for the operation

of communications networks and

for fault repair. Fault location using

reflectometry and automated

bridge measurement processes

enable data transmission to be

rapidly reinstated. Our monitoring

systems have also proved to be a

great success, reporting weak

points before a fault has actually

occurred.

Pipe networks

Noise, pressure and flow loggers

provide valuable data to monitor

water networks. On the basis of

these pre-locations, SebaKMT

correlators and microphones can

pinpoint the leaks reliably and

precisely. Modern location

processes such as the twin

correlation or the double-segment

analysis allow a leak detection

specialist to react quickly and

properly targeted.
