Shri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi Shillong, organizes a Spiritual Discourse programme of Shri
Murali Jaju, National Spiritual Coordinator on 10th
September 2019, at Bangiya Sahitya Parishad, Jail
Road Shillong. The directions received from State
President Shri Satyen Sharma on 31st July 2019,
regarding Shri Murali Jaju ji’s visit to the North eastern
states made all Sai devotees feel the warmth of Baba’s
blessings as if Swami is sending his disciple to this
region for Satsang and spreading love amongst the
people of State of Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal
Pradesh. It was on 10th Sept 2019 morning, when Sri
Murali Jaju ji has been escorted to Ma Kamakhya
Temple at 7:00am and it was around 09:30am when
the devine soul started his journey to the hill Sai
District of Meghalaya, the abode of peace and harmony accompanied by Shri Bhaskar Bora
Education Coordinator from Golaghat Sai Samithi. Sai devotees, waiting for months, left
for Spiritual Discourse programme at Bangiya Sahitya Parishad and the hall was fully
occupied by 3:00pm with record gathering of more than 270 devotees and delegates. It was
a beautiful serene location near Shillong Golf Course, where Shri Murali Jaju will stay and
meditate. The Convenor, Shillong Sai Samithi was garlanding Swami’s photo at Jaju ji’s
room when a call came that Shri Murali Jaju ji has arrived. Shillong been blessed since
then for the next 24hours. By then Shri Sivjee Prasad, Shri Hemango K Dutta, Shri Rahul
Dutta Choudhury, and Shri Poonam Sharma, also reached the place of meditation and stay.
Shri Murali Jaji ji took rest and meditate in his room
and we devotees greeted and took his blessings and
started from his place at 2:00pm to Sathya Sai
Mandir, Prasanthi Sadhana Nilayam, located near
Laitumkhrah area of Shillong. Shri Murali Jaju ji
started his meditation in front of divine asana of
Bhagawan Baba and we waited for devotees from Guwahati who also travelled for Shillong
to attend the Discourse Programme. At 3:30pm Aarti was performed by Shri Murali Jaju
at Prasanthi Sadhana Nilayam. With distribution of Bibhuti, Shri Murali Jaju and all
devotees left for the venue for the Spiritual Discourse programme. On arrival, devotees
including the Balbikas students showered flowers to Shri Murali Jaju ji, orchestrated with
‘uruli’ and veda chanting that created divinity in the spiritual hall. A moment, Sai devotees
from Shillong had been waiting since years.
Shillong, in general being preached
Christianity across, and on the auspicious
day of Islam, the festival of Muharram,
with vedic chants has created the
spirituality to love for all religion and one
god.
The Spiritual Discourse Programme
started with Inauguration of lamp and
floral tribute to Bhagawan Baba by Shri Murali Jaju, Shri Gokul Das Trustee, Shri Shobhita
Choudhury, State Balvikas Coordinator, Shri Sivjee Prasad, District President and Smt
Danmoti Gurung, District Mahila Service Coordinator.
With Inaugural address from District
President Shri Sivjee Prasad, the
Balvikas students performed
Chanting of Strotas followed by
Saraswati Vandana and Rudra
Abhisekam. The Balvikas students
performed cultural programme and
sang Sai Bhajan. Sai Bhajan “Devi Sai
Ma” and “Jaya Jagadish sahare” was performed by Balavikas Guru, Smt Indrani Bhuyan
along with her team. The programme continued with speech from Sai devotee Shri
Balakrishna Reddy and Shri M K Mohannan President, Shree Narayana Guru Cultural
Centre, Shillong. Samithi offered token of
love in order to felicitate Shri Murali Jaju ji
with a photo depicting Swami, crafts
depicting Musical items of Meghalaya and
photo of Prasanthi Sadhana Nilayam Shillong
along with Eri Shawl woven by artisans from
gods own children, Assamese Gamusa and
Prasanthi Sadhana Nilayam Scarf. The Samithi offered token of love to Shri Gokul Das,
Trustee, Smt Shobhita Choudhury, Shri Balakrishna Reddy and Shri M K Mohannan. With
this the much awaited Spiritual Discourse started with bhajan from Shri Murali Jaju and
whole hall sang with him.
The Spiritual discourse ended with Sai
Bhajan from Shri Murali Jaju. The
programme continued with Bhajan
performance by Veteran Bhajan Singer
Shri Rupak Sharma, “Sai Maa, Sai
Janani Maa” and “Hari Bhajana Bina
Sukh Shanti Nahi”. Devotees from
Jhalupara and Nongmynsong
performed three bhajans sung by Smt Mina Pradhan “Guru Sat Guru Sat Guru Sai Ram”
, Smt Sita Bhandari – “ Satya Dharma Shanti Prema” and Shri Suraj Lohar – “Guruvayoor
Guru Krishna Gopal” with team Shoba Bhandari, Tara War, Mohan Gurung, Sohan
Chetry and Govind.
The programme has been offered with vote
of thanks by Shri Hemango Kishore Dutta,
Convenor, Shillong Sai Samithi,
expressing gratitude to all contributing in
making the programme a success.
The Spiritual discourse programme concluded
with blowing of Shankha that made the
Sandya Aarti by Shri Murali Jaju and devotees
full of devotion and showering of blessings
from Bhagawan Baba.
Devotees felt presence of Bhagawan baba in Shillong and made all possible moments
captured in lenses with Shri Murali Jaju. At around 09:00pm Shri Murali Jaju left for place
of meditation and rest. At 10:00pm we reached the place of stay for Shri Murali Jaju where
devotees attended the Satsang.
Day 2 – Dated: 11-09-2019
At 06:45am, Shri Murali Jaju was accompanied by Shri Sivjee Prasad, District President,
Shri Hemango K Dutta, Convenor, Shri Rahul Dutta Choudhury, Service Coordinator and
Shri Poonam Sharma, Spiritual Coordinator along with Shri Bhaskar Bora to Prasanthi
Sadhana Nilayam, Shillong. The session started at 07:10am with twenty one times “Aum
Kaaram” followed by “Suprabhatam” and procedures of “Jyothi meditation”. At 09:30am
Shri Murali Jaju Ji offered Aarti to Bhagawan Baba and, left for Silchar leaving a loads of
love and positive vibrations among the devotees of Shillong.
