Magazine Visit 2 Ethiopia Magazine is one of the very few specialized magazines on Ethiopia. It is a pio-

neer and multilingual magazine for the tourism sector. It will be published in five major Euro-

pean languages and to be distributed in ten major European countries. It is published quarterly

and reaches all professionals in tourism, decision makers as well as staff and reservations de-

partments in tourist generating countries. It targeted as well potential tourists to Ethiopia.

The main objective of the magazine is to promote Ethiopian as a tourist destination, to build

better image for the country and to support all the stakeholders in the sector. It supplies inter-

views, feature articles, analyses, product knowledge, useful information, where to stay, what to

see, what to do, latest trends and developments in Tourism industry.

Strength of Visit 2 Ethiopia Magazine: cross-cultural awareness and know-how, international

and national experience and Europe-wide network. Well known travel Journalists and writers

will participate in realization of this magazine from Belgium, Germany and France. It aims col-

lective marketing and promotional activities to play major role in building positive image for

the country, boost the sector and reinforce Tour Operators position in the world market for ma-

SUBSTANCE AND FORM

Visit 2 Ethiopia magazine is in the form of an A4 64 pages. The four pages are the cover in

glossy paper of 170 grams, while the inside pages are glossy paper of 130 grams.

The articles and documents will make readers aware of the tourist attraction, resources and po-

tential the country has, introducing the country from in-side out and promoting product and ser-

vices provided by all stakeholders in the sector, while offering a wealth of information in sev-

eral areas that could have impact on the tourism.

The prices indicated are calculated per insertion. They are denominated in BIRR, and are ap-

plicable until 31.12.2009. The rates announced imply delivery of CAMERA-READY material

(see also supply of material). If the delivered material is not ready for printing, the technical

costs required for adoption will be put into account.

THE GENERAL TERMS OF SALES AND PAYMENT OF ADVERTISING

SPACE IN Visit 2 Ethiopia MAGAZINE

1. Unless otherwise agreed and specifically on our part, shall

apply only the general conditions listed below. Any excep-tion will be valid unless it is clearly stated on the in-voice.

2. Any claim for services must reach us by letter within 7 days after leaving the magazine. Any claims submitted after this deadline will not be admis-sible.

3. The client accepts having read the general conditions of sale of advertising space in Visit 2 Ethiopia magazine.

4. The customer agrees to the terms and conditions of sale of advertising space in Visit 2 Ethiopia magazine.

5. After signing the contract, the customer agrees to pay a deposit of at least 30% of the amount due, at least 7 days before the publication of the advertisement in the maga-zine. The remaining 70% is payable no later than 30 days after receipt of invoice.

6. After signing the contract, the customer agrees to pay the deposit and the balance (see item 5) only in the Visit 2 Ethiopia account, whose number is on the transfer slip.

7. In case of cancellation of its order by the customer, Visit 2 Ethiopia will be entitled to claim compensation equiva-lent to 25% (including tax) of the order.

8. Before signing the contract, the customer agrees to show the details, the product will be in space purchased in Visit 2 Ethiopia magazine.

9. Any changes to the product display must be at least 3 days after signing the contract. After this time the product is presented when signing a contract that will be displayed.

In case of dispute or litigation, the courts of Brussels are competent, unless and otherwise agreed up on.
