Your team needs to create a visual media presentation, no longer than 2-3 minutes, that summarizes your QuikScience project.

It needs to illustrate your problem topic, provide a rationale for studying this topic, and summarize your scientifi c findings, community service and lesson plan.

The presentation should incorporate video segments demonstrating your work during those segments of the project and should ultimately serve to raise public awareness about your cause.

The visual media presentation is due on 2/6 . The visual media presentation will be graded on content, creativity, guideline adherence, and work ethic according to the attached rubric.

QUESTIONS TO CONSIDER

1. Brainstorm ideas with your team. What impact do you want your video to have? What tone will it employ? Will your team “act” in the video or not?

2. Review the images and videos that you already have. What do you have and what are you missing?

3. Complete the PSA Script outline and storyboard graphic organizer. Fill in the sections that are useful.

4. Media Engineer – organize the times and locations to make your video possible!

STEPS TO SUCCESS

A storyboard is a visual way to plot out a TV script and story. Movie directors and animators use storyboards to plot out their thinking and ideas.

In the blank boxes, draw images of what you want to show on the screen. On the lines underneath, write the audio portion.

On the "audio" lines, write music, sound effects, and dialogue.

On the Special Effects (SFX) line, write any effects, such as distortion, blur, and color alteration.

Finally, in the "Superscript" line, write any text, such as titles or credits, that you want to add to the screen.
