My love for politics and helping others all started in my small hometown of Elkton, KY, where everybody knows your name and is willing to lend a helping hand.
Although, this small town girl has always had big city dreams and decided the University of Kentucky was the first step to fulfillment.

¡ Summer Intern with Kentucky Secretary of State – 2011 § As an intern, I researched legislation, drafted a bill on domestic
violence, created a pamphlet of civic organizations across the state, which was sent to all KY high schools, updated press lists and communicated with press regarding news within the office, worked to create a One Stop business filing system for all businesses in KY, and aided in expanding the slogan and essay contest, dealing with civic duty, the Secretary offers to middle and school students.

¡ Obtain an entry level job in HR or administration in order to gain experience needed to go further within the field.
¡ Finish Masters in Pubic Administration, specializing in human resource management to further my knowledge and become a better employee.
¡ Move forward into a leadership position in a human resources team taking care of dispute resolution among employees, training, etc.
¡ Travel for work, should this be a need of the company I am employed by.
