London Miles is proud to announce the first solo exhibition of London based illustra-tor DAVID MARSH aka Mesh 137. Visual Splendor is an exciting showcase of what the talented young artist David Marsh has to offer; the exhibition will feature more than 30 individual works of art creating a literal visual feast for the eyes. David Marsh, a pattern artist from the UK has a truly incredible eye for the most intricate of details. Going by his alias Mesh 137, he created a name for himself origi-nally through his love of using the streets and building facades as his canvases before making his transition into exhibiting indoors in art galleries. He draws inspiration for his artwork from various counter culture movements such as music, graffiti, tattoo art and pulp comics. His larger compositions involve minute patterning hundreds of individual crystals and meticulous finishes which often require hundreds of hours of careful craftsmanship. His illustration work consist of vibrant interpretations of ev-eryday objects like vibrant teapots cupcakes or quirky characters such as pinup ‘pop art’ girls. His artworks are made up using mixed media such as paint pens, spray paints, metallic and acrylic paints and crystals. The main focus of his work is to make paintings which his audience will enjoy looking at and since his recent graduation he has successfully won the hearts of art lovers and serious collectors alike. David Marsh is an explosion of colour, energy and boldness, his playful character and eagerness to just have a good time is truly infectious. London Miles can guarantee love at first sight with the new collection of artworks presented on September 10th in David Marsh’s solo show, Visual Splendor.
