aluminum alloys; improving the weldability of aluminum alloys through
trace additions· Development of light alloys (Aluminum alloys and Magnesium
alloys) with enhanced performance levels, e.g., improved creep strength for
extending the temperature range of their application
· Compositional and process modifications to improve the
mechanical properties, including the fatigue life of aluminum alloys
· Improving the corrosion and wear resistance of light alloys
· Studies on environmental degradation of materials going into
airbus and find solutions to combat the same.·
