SIGN AND SYMPTOMS OF VITAMIN DEFICIENCY
There are several symptoms of vitamin deficiency that include:1. Fatigue2. Shortness of Breath3. Dizziness4. Pale skin5. Significant weight loss6. Personality Changes7. Unsteady Movements
When your body doesn’t have enough of a certain amount of a specific vitamins you can go into a vitamin deficiency.
Causes are:
-Folate Deficiency Anemias – this is well know as vitamin B-9, if you are on a current diet that lacks this vitamin can lead to vitamin deficiency.
Vitamin B-12 Deficiency – this can come from a diet lacking mainly certain meats, eggs and milk. However this deficiency mainly is due to the lack of a certain protein called intrinsic factor.
Risk Factors:
Pregnancy - and not taking any sort of folic acids.
Intestinal Problems - that interferes with absorption of folate acids.
Cancer treatment – Different drugs that are sued to treat cancer can interfere with your metabolism.
Fruits and Vegetables – you may have a deficiency if you don’t eat enough fresh fruits and vegetables.
Complications:
Pregnancy: A developing fetus that does not get enough vitamins from the mother can develop certain birth defects.
Nervous System – untreated vitamin deficiency can lead certain neurological problems. I can lead to certain issues with your balance and hands.
