General Information

Viteria Monte Marenzo was established 1981 developing into the today’s modern company to supply quality productsto end users and large distributors.

Pag.23 :Road map of Monte MarenzoToday, the largest part of our production is represented by high and medium tensile top quality screws.Being this catalogue more technical than our previous one, it is meant to show the screws specifications as well asservice and opportunities that V.M.M. offers to its customers, special screws and also special controls, technicalassistance and more.

V.M.M. aims at the achievement of a cooperation relationship with its customers, according to the Quality Policy of itsManual in compliance with UNI EN ISO 9002 Standards, as quoted at 4.1.:• To introduce the company deeply into the global market• To enlarge market shares• To ensure compliance with customers' requirements• To strengthen relationship and bond with customers• To continuously improve technology to provide a quality product at competitive prices• To offer quality products in compliance with the standard at the most favorable prices As to customers' expectations V.M.M. intends to: • To strengthen relationship with customers, with regard to the swift market changes, in order to identify the

Customer's expectations (what the customer never asks).• Support customers in case of complaints, with all available tests carried out on the product, with its engineers and

laboratory at the customer’s full disposal• For the screws supplied on design dies are kept for longtime, to maintain the possibility of producing them even

if no longer included in the customer’s range.

To support his policy, he company undertakes :

• To have the raw material available as quickly as possible in order to satisfy all delivery requirements.

• To keep the production technology level in order to satisfy the requirements of the Standards also allowing, at thesame time , to easily diversify production.

• To maintain a constant knowledge of the Technical Standard Regulations.

• To maintain the production process efficiency by an accurate maintenance program of the machines .

• To carry out a continuos internal improvement , not only technological but olso concerning the training ofpersonnel.

Certifications The Test Certificate 3.1B issued by V.M.M. in compliance with UNI 10204 Standards reports the results obtained fromthe tests performed on screws according to UNI 20898/1 Standards. Another Certificate available at V.M.M. is the Certificate of Origin 2.1 in compliance with UNI 10204 Standards wherethe results obtained are not shown. La V.M.M. Laboratory is equipped with the following instruments :• Tensile Testing Machine connected to a computer for printing the test profile and numerical data. Test attached to

the certificate 3.1B.• Durometer Rockwell used for current hardness tests.• Microdurometer Vickers, used for decarbonization test.• Dynamometric torque wrenches.• Workshop Dynascope connected to the system Quadra-Chek 2000 for visual bearing of screw size as well as of

possible surface defects.• Other instruments and machines suitable to prepare test bars for metallographic tests. All instruments are provided with SIT calibration certificates and the other measuring instruments refer to internal orexternal samples directly referred to home samples. For external processings, such as galvanizing, our suppliers' conformity certificates are attached to our certificate 3.1B.

Packing

In industrial sacks or in boxes :Either V.M.M. boxes or neutral boxes are available. V.M.M. box is more commonly used.The tables here below show the packing units of our products: intersect the screws size of your interest, for instance,M8 with its length, 40, and the content of the box results to be 200 screws.These tables defer according to packing : European packing : the box is better organized : Bolts European packing : screws + nut : Industrial packing : the box capacity is fully exploited

We are studying the possibility to adopt the bar-code EIFI-FASTCODE on our labels, i.e. to print the product bar-codedirectly on our labels that EIFI wants to adopt as a standard for the field of screws.This study will be expected to be carried through within the end of 2000 and the new bar-code be applied.This is a new service that V.M.M. will place at its customers’ disposal, since a lot of them are a member of EIFI orUPIVEB, therefore even they will be addressed sooner or later to adopt this standard of bar-code.
