5How -To’sEvery Man Should Master

Some may believe otherwise, most guys don’t know everything. For those that don’t Vive is here to

help. Check out these ve common activities that every guy should be familiar with, from achieving that perfect shave to diapering a baby,

broken down into easy-to-follow steps.

Achieve the

PerfectShave

1Say goodbye to razor burn, unsightly bumps and painful nicks for good!

The art of shaving whiskers is a right of passage. However, somewhere along the line, thanks to the advent of disposable razors, the abundance of low-cost gels and-foam, shaving has become a lost art.Though times have changed and people are busier than ever; achieving a smooth clean shave need not be considered a thing of the past. By simply tweaking a few of your tools, you’ll achieve the perfect shave every time.

Tweak2: Stop applying shaving cream with your fingers, and use a badger hair brush instead. Badger hair creates a thick, luscious lather that coats each individual hair.

Tweak3: Swap out canned aerosol creams, which tend to foam excessively and gunk up your blade, with quality shaving creams that come in jars or tubs.

Tweak1: Ditch the disposable razor and invest in a quality blade.

Once you have the proper tools, the technique is easy.

Step 1: Wash your face with warm water to open the pores, relax facial muscles and soften stubble.

Step2: Wet brush with warm water, and gently swirl it in the shaving jar or tub.

Step 3: Paint your face with the lather by running the brush up and down your face.

Step 4: Run the blade with the direction of the hair using very little pressure. Start at your sideburns and work down, rising the blade often.

Step 5: Pat don’t wipe your face dry with a clean towel.

Step 6: Apply moisturizer or aftershave lotion, and you’re good to go.

Some people may call him “fortunate”, some “lucky”, many “blessed” he calls himself “average”... but I would like to think of Harold Charles as “a force to be reckoned with”. A native of the beautiful island of Haiti, now residing in Turks & Caicos, Mr. Charles is the epitome of someone who set his goals early in life, knew exactly who he wanted to be and what he wanted to do... and obviously, hard work paid off.

Everyone knows him as the man who moved from Haiti to Turks & Caicos as a youngster, worked his way up from cleaning the airplanes to being a baggage boy, to a pilot and eventually purchasing the airlines which he worked for known as Sky King Airlines. Having accomplished such a stupendous achievement from such humble and meager beginnings, placed this hardworking, dedicated and focused man in the eyes of every migrant all over the world, Haitian and Non-Haitian. We wanted to delve deeper and really get to know a little bit more about not just the former President and Owner of Sky King, the entrepreneur, the motivational speaker, but Mr. Harold Charles, the man.

Arriving at the headquarters of Vive Creole, Mr. Charles was accompanied by his producer Will. He confidently walked in looking the part of a man of worth... effortlessly rocking a pair of jeans and button down pin-striped shirt, but exuding such grace & humility; you had no choice but to instantly fall in love with him. His welcoming personality had the staff of Vive Creole feeling pretty calm, and all nervous inhibitions went flying through the door the minute he flashed that winning smile which displayed his gorgeous pearly whites. My kind of guy!

Hearing his story, understanding his background and where he came from, one would assume he did not stand a chance in life. But, Mr. Charles perceived what it meant to dream and dream big from an early age and this knowledge propelled this young man into his destiny. A destiny that would not only change his life, but the life of many who have crossed path with him.

Mr. Charles is a big believer in sharing and giving backwhether it’s time, money, energy, resources or himself. He also believes in tithing of which these exemplary traits he fully credits to his father and his 96 year old mother. A woman that is very much alive and has outlived most of her generation to see the fruits of her labor through the life of her son. Let’s kick up the momentum and learn more about this culturally rich and purpose driven son of Haiti...

FAMILY MATTERS:

Mr. Charles wears many titles, Entrepreneur, Pilot, Owner and President, Motivational Speaker, Business Man and many more. We would like to think of him as a “Jack of all Trades” and obviously he mastered them all. “My most important role is whatever makes a difference in people’s lives. Simple as that, to create jobs and opportunities for people. There is so much that we can do to make a difference, especially in the Haitian community and also in Haiti. I have witnessed a lot of suffering, a lot of pain that our people go through in the neighboring countries and in Haiti. For the last four years my goal has been to make a difference in the lives of people there. Unfortunately, I have not received the level of corporation that is needed to do so, but, it’s still a goal of mine.”

There is so much that we can do to makea dierence.“

MOST IMPORTANT ROLE & WHY: Mr. Charles wears many titles, Entrepreneur, Pilot, Owner and President, Motivational Speaker, Business Man and many more. We would like to think of him as a “Jack of all Trades” and obviously he mastered them all. “My most important role is whatever makes a positive difference in people’s lives. Simple as that, to create jobs and opportuni-ties for people. There is so much that we can do to make a difference, especially in the Haitian communities every-where in the world. and also in Haiti. I have witnessed a lot of suffering, a lot of pain that our people go through in the other countries and in Haiti. For the last six years my goal has been to make a meaningful difference in the lives of people there, through investment opportunities. Unfortu-nately, I had not received the level of cooperation that is needed to do so, but, it’s still a goal of mine.”

FAMILY MATTERS: The son of an ordinary man and woman, Harold is one of thirteen children, now twelve. Even though his family had limited means, he smiled when he recalled the love they had for each other. “We were financially challenged, but we were happy”, said Mr. Charles. “I had a great father, who worked with me for 25 years at my company; so he was fortunate to see what his son had accomplished going from strength to strength and I was so Blessed to have rewarded my father by having him be a part of my company.”

Mr. Charles has been married for over 30 years to a woman he describes as shy but efficacious. “She’s a very powerful, mentally strong woman and I must give her a lot of credit for my success in life.” He proudly professes private memories as he takes a moment to talk about his life-long love. “We were very young when we got married, just before she turned twenty and I was about twenty three years old. She comes from a family that definitely had more means than mine. She had the luxuries of a lot of things that I didn’t. It is just amazing what she did and how she humbled herself to be with me.” He calls it “simply amazing.” It is safe to say that Mrs. Veronica Charles saw the potential in this man and she quickly realized that he was someone with whom she could build a life.

A proud father of seven, Mr. Charles describes himself as a family man who loves children. He admitted that he was a workaholic back then and did not spend as much time as he should when they were younger; but now he is making up for lost time. He is dedicated to ensuring that his children understand the meaning of hard work, integrity, self respect but most importantly family, love and being a giver. He says his children see him as a giver, a trait he inherited from his mother and one that he wishes to transfer to them, because one receives a lot of blessings by giving to others.

Some people may call him “fortunate”, some “lucky”, many “blessed,” he calls himself “an ordinary man doing extraor-dinary things”... but I would like to think of Harold Charles as “a force to be reckoned with”. A native of the beautiful island of Haiti, having resided in Turks & Caicos for 36 years, he calls it home. Mr. Charles is the epitome of some-one who sets his goals early in life, knows exactly who he wants to be and what he wants to do... and obviously, his hard work pays off.

Everyone knows him as the man who moved from Haiti to Turks & Caicos as a youngster, worked his way up from cleaning airplanes to being a baggage handler, to a commer-cial pilot, flew airplanes for the company and eventually purchasing the airlines which he worked for nine years later. That company was known as Provo Flying Service, which he renamed Charles Air Service which he sold after five years. Then, two years later he founded Sky King Airlines.

Arriving at the headquarters of Vive Creole in Hollywood Florida, Mr. Charles was accompanied by his producer Will Harper. Mr. Charles is a big believer in sharing and giving back... whether it’s time, money, energy, resources or himself. He also believes in tithing of which these exemplary traits he fully credits to his 96 year old mother. She instilled in him Christian love , sharing and meticulous habits. A woman who is very much alive and has outlived most of her genera-tion to see the fruits of her labor through the life of her son. His father, who went Home to Glory, at age 86, some years ago taught him the value of hard work and integrity. Let’s kick up the momentum and learn more about this culturally rich and purpose driven son of Haiti...

women 101What your mothers forgot to teach you: "Intro to Women, Class 101". It is a known fact that men are mommy's little boys , and women are daddy's little princesses . The key word is princess . Women like to be cherished, respected, loved, and most of all, showered with attention. So that is what men should give women; attention.

The problem with most men is they think that in order to make sure their catch doesn't get away, they must constantly give women attention. Wrong! The reason that most women get bored in a relationship, or turned off by a new acquaintance, is that they get too much attention at once.

Have you ever heard of the phrase "I need some breathing space please!"? Well, this phrase exists for a reason, yet most men ignore it, and continue giving their women their undeniable attention.Wait a minute! You might ask, "Luis, you just said that women like a lot of attention, and now you are telling me too much is bad?" Yes, because the whole secret is to know when to give attention and when not to.

I recommend a three-step method recommended by psychologist Dr. David Libstein, I've tried it and it works! The question now is, is it an ethical method? Well I always say, "What people don't know, won't hurt them."There are three-steps to baiting the woman you want and if you play your cards right, you may end getting everything you want.

Stop Chasing & They Will ComeVIVEMANSWER

Don't you ever wonder why you can't successfully pick up women? Well, we have the answers right here.

One hundred beautiful women were survey (what a hard job we had!). The purpose was to find out why women fall head over heels over one man more than another. Finally, we got the answer that we've all been anxiously waiting for; it all comes down to the chase. Apparently, women's perception of men depends on how the male goes about setting up the bait to trap women. This perception usually remains the same throughout the relationship. It is safe to say that most women we surveyed enjoy being chased, but get turned off quickly by the way men approach them. Men know how to initiate the chase, but can rarely close the deal successfully.

For a woman to know that you are interested, she must be aware of it. If she is not, then absolutely nothing will happen. You therefore have to take a risk. This is where the chase begins.

Pick the woman that you are interested in, wherever you may be. May I suggest that you choose your lady early and concentrate only on her the whole time you are there. If you start looking around too much, you will give her the impression that you are looking for anyone to sleep with.

After you find her, begin by looking for body language signs, such as eye contact, a smile, hair touching, etc.

If you get these signs from her, you must move quickly. Most men just wait around eyeballing the lady the whole time. By the time they get the nerves to go talk to her, either someone else moved in, or she'll think you are some perverted stalker because you gawked too much.
