Greetings from Dublin! Can you believe that the summer is already over and we have entered into a new autumn season in Ireland! We have had an incredible and exciting summer (not weather wise as some of you might know...anyways let’s not mention anything about the Irish weather shall we? Friends so much has happened on our side and God is clearly doing something new, fresh, authentic and exciting in our church and in the churches of Dublin!

on cover: We had a BBQ for all the university students at our apartment. More on page 7.

As some of you might know that as a couple we are still in the process of raising up a ministry support team that will support us through prayer and also financially to help cover our ministry expenses and living costs here in Ireland. Currently we have raised 55 percent of our final support goal! Over the last six to seven months our priority and focus was to lead and oversee the church in Steve’s absence. Please pray for us as we go into another season of meeting and connecting with some potential partners locally and then also globally through a wonderful God-given communication tool called Skype!!

Update on Steve GilmoreJust to give you a short update on Pastor Steve Gilmore’s treatment, he is doing well and the doctors are still happy with his progress and most importantly his test results after his seven months of chemotherapy! Steve also recently managed to have a two-week break from the four walls of his private hospital room to spend some much needed time with Cheryll and their four adorable daughters before his fifth and final round of chemotherapy. Steve also had the opportunity to preach and minister at church recently and it was wonderful to hear some of the many revelations that God has taught, revealed and downloaded to him over the last seven months of intense treatment. Please continue to pray for the Gilmore family and for Steve as he enters into the final leg of his chemotherapy treatment this week.

Several years ago we received a clear word that God is going to reposition us in the city and little did we know that it would happen so soon! Due to the growth in number in our children’s ministry (what a great problem to have) and also a lack of storage facilities and a room for our youth ministry we clearly felt that it was sign of closure and that our season in Temple Bar and in cinema 2 of the IFI has come to an end after nine years! On July 17th God repositioned and provided us with a wonderful venue in a hotel that is situated right in the heart of a community close to the city centre that is also surrounded with five university and college campuses! God is definitely doing something new and fresh in our church and we are so excited to be a part of this very exciting mission assignment here in Ireland!

Over the last six weeks our church did a series called ‘’Activate’’ where Johann had the opportunity to teach and preach from the book of Acts or the ‘’book of actions ‘’ on the gifts and fruit of the Holy Spirit and on how we can live a life filled and empowered to be led by the Holy Spirit. During the series we have seen several healings, breakthroughs and also heard many testimonies of how God touched and provided for people in a very supernatural way! God has also given our church a stronger urge and desire to become more fruitful and effective at reaching out to the lost and the broken in our communities and on the campuses across the city of Dublin.

Upate on Building RenovationJust to give you some feedback on the old church building that we were looking at with the possibility of renovating, well, due to a lack of funding we have decided to put the renovation project on ‘’ice’’ for the moment. It was estimated that we will require approximately 45,000 euros for the first phase and then a further 50,000 euros for the second phase. We know that with our God all things are possible...right?! So please continue to pray that God’s will be done as we continue to commit our plans to Him.

Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.

The Freshmen Are Coming!

From the last week in September to the first week of October several campuses around Dublin are having their Freshmen week, or as it is called here, “Freshers Week”. Freshers Week is dedicated to all the first-year students entering into university campuses around Dublin. They have the opportunity to learn about all the clubs and societies available on their campuses. During Freshman week a few of our students and Student ENGAGE volunteers will use this opportunity to connect and reach out to many students from around Ireland and from different nations and ethnic backgrounds. Currently we have a few volunteers that are geared up with some Every Nation Student ENGAGE welcome packs to pass out! As a church we believe that this is such an important opportunity to reach and connect with these freshman as they embark on their new adventure and journey as college students in Dublin. Please pray that many students will be reached and also find a spiritual home in Dublin and in our church!

The Freshmen Are Coming! Student BBQ On August 5th, we held a BBQ

for our Every Nation college students at our apartment. Four of our students (seated in the middle) and one of our campus volunteers attended. The four students that attend the Royal College of Surgeons are from Malaysia and they enjoyed eating the American/South African inspired cuisine. We hope to have many more student events in the future!

Every Nation Student ENGAGE is a place to GATHER and connect with other university students, ASK questions, GROW in your relationship with God, and be EQUIPPED to face the challenges of Uni life.

Finally and most importantly we want to thank each and everyone of you for your love, prayer and support to us over the last ten months of marriage and ministry! God has been so faithful and we appreciate you all so much.

Numbers 6:24 “May the Lord bless you and keep you: May the Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”

All for Him,

As a church we believe that we are called to pray and support Israel in these very challenging times. So on the 30th of September our Every Nation prayer and mission team are planning a fundraising event for a prayer mission trip to Israel from the 10–23 October.

The Every Nation Ball is a dinner and dance and all the proceeds for the event will go towards sponsoring and supporting some local charities in Jerusalem that are dedicated to reach the poor and needy in our beloved Israel.

Please pray for this event and for our safety and protection as our team travels and connects with some charities around Israel during the Feast of the Tabernacles and also during these very challenging and important political times.
