Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin is a political leader of our huge country, the President of the Russian Federation, who is well-known all over the world because he is considered to be strict, determined, purposeful and tolerant.

But on the other hand, Vladimir Vladimirovich is a citizen of his country, and like many other people, he has got different interests and occupations.

One of his hobbies is sport. That`s great!It`s very important to be strong, healthyand to keep fit. Our President is famousfor such kind of sport as judo. The coachof the President is Anatoliy Rakhlin. Putinbegan to go in for wrestling long ago. Heis an experienced sportsman and theMaster of Sport in judo.

Vladimir Vladimirovich showedgood results: he was the championof his city and the prize-winner ofgreat All-Union competitions. TheInternational Judo Federation awarded Putin the eighth dan and, without any doubts, he deserved this reward thanksto his toughness, self-confidence andpersistence.

I am very glad that my son is fond of judo as well. He is a student of a cadet class and armed close fight is his favorite cadet discipline. He has got a lot of medals, diplomas and cups. And, for sure, V.V.Putin is an example of courage and diligence for the young generation.
