The VMIH Emergency Medical Services Division provides specialized medi-cal services to a wide variety of sports and special events that require medical coverage. Having a strong and solid medical background, VMIH Emergency Medical Services Division specializes in catastrophic events of concussion, sudden cardiac episodes and heat related illnesses, as they have become the forefront of sports medicine discussions. Despite there is a limited level of oversight and regulation in sports events and activities, we are striving to standardize our policies and procedures, while providing safety, emergency response and education to all related parties, through our highly qualified and experienced personnel.

The Company
VMIH Emergency Medical Services Division offers a complete "Medical Services Package" consisting of Ambulatory Services, supported by a young fleet of more than 20 ambulances with varying specifications (2x4, 4x4, Light Vehicle, etc). Our special-ized and trained Nurses, Paramedics and EMTs are all mobilized by BLS experi-ences Ambulance Drivers capable for driving safely every type of ambulance; desert areas, coastal areas, as well as within heavy traffic city settings for emer-gency transportation to UAE hospitals.
VMIH Emergency Medical Services Division’s extensive experience and outstanding performance is our No. 1 marketing "tool"! Our division is supported by a team of VMIH & TDMC specialized Healthcare Professionals. Sports Medicine – Orthopedic Surgeon Doctor, Sports Medicine trained GPs, Nurses from the in-house – American Safety & Health Institute – Certified trainer and a team of Specialized Physiothera-pists & Occupational Therapists in Orthopedic and Sports Injuries.

Emergency Response - VMIH Emergency Medical Services Division is ready to provide the services required, in action, for any type of special event and sports activity. Our extensive experience in emergency response and our strategic plan and operations to prevent unwanted events, are the elements that make us stand out as a medical provider in the Sports & Events Sector. Risk and time management are applied at all times and are customized for different events.
On-Field Clinics - Sports activities and events are all about emergency. Big crowds and participants pushing themselves to the limit, at anytime, require emergency response. This is what we do; our on-filed clinics are medical units, structured to react and take care of casual-ties "on-site", before they are safely transfered with our ambulances to a hospital facility.
Training - Emergency response saves lives and prevents extensive complications. We respond through our trained and highly experienced personnel that is "up and running", ensuring the best treatment and safety for members of all ages involved. VMIH Emergency Medical Services Division has a dedicated Training Center that specializes in medical training. Our staff is assessed by special trainers utilizing a comprehensive, competency checklist. Our Training Center is authorized by the Health Authority of Abu Dhabi to provide a multitude of training programs, as per our affiliation and approval by the Ameri-can Safety and Health Institute (ASHI). The VMIH Training Center, our EMTs and doctors, always complying with regulations, provide basic training and certificates not only to Health Care Professionals; corporate training, all communities, citizens, all public and private organizations.
