DRAMATIZATION (NOUN)
To turn something into a script so that it may be performed.
• We will create dramatizations of Aesop’s fables.
• Tortoise and Hare
SETTING (NOUN)When and where a story takes place—customs and clothing are also part of the setting.
• The settings for our Aesop’s Fables may vary. Some may take place in a country setting, some in a village.
EXPOSITION (NOUN)• The beginning of the story in which readers or viewers learn about the
characters and setting.
• In the exposition for The Tortoise and the Hare, we learn that the setting is in the country and the characters are a slow but determined tortoise and a quick over self-confident hare.
