Chelsea La Rosa is a talented and disciplined singer on the Hillsong Church team, and has years of experience and training as a professional vocalist. She has led large Big Bands, sung leads in University Operas, performed in cover bands in the US and Sydney at epic venues such as Lincoln Centre NY and The Shangri La SYD on New Years Eve. She has years of experience in the studio singing jingles and doing voice overs. Chelsea sings and leads worship at Hillsong City Campus in Sydney, has sung items and praise and worship at conferences in venues such as Allphones Arena, is a lead in the Hillsong Christmas Spectacular and is a vocal trainer at Hillsong College. She has some great insights to share that we hope will help you as a vocalist and performer.
David Holmes has been a professional musician for over 30 years. He has a Bachelor in Music, Associate Diploma in Performing Arts Jazz, Creative Arts Diploma in Ministry and is a songwriting member of APRA. Dave has travelled and performed all over the world and has played in over 400 album projects including with Steve Grace, Darlene Zschech, Youth Alive, C3, and Hillsong. Dave is an arranger, session musician, songwriter, vocalist, music director, teacher, lecturer and producer. During a six year position as a church Music Director, David coordinated music teams, composed original music, co-produced church music albums and was also a part of the Youth Alive band David is an expert in Improvisation, lead and electric guitar.
Clare Heuston is a highly acclaimed vocalist and vocal teacher. She studied vocals at the University of Sydney, with a special interest in Performance Studies. She went on to work with a number of highly regarded teachers and won several prestigious awards such as the Lady Persia Galleghan Award for Operatic Voice and the Mozart Prize at the National Eisteddfod. She has given classical recitals to music clubs throughout Sydney and regional NSW, most recently at the Picton Music Club 20th Anniversary Concert. She works in a variety of genres such as art song, music theatre and opera, she can perform classic Blues and Gospel to her own accompaniment. Clare has been teaching since 2000 and runs her own studio in Pitt St, Sydney as well as at Excelsia College.
