#Voces2016
Dear Mujeres Latinas en Acción Family and Friends,
Welcome to Voces Unidas: Version 2.0! Tonight we celebrate Mujeres and support the programs that provide meaningful and life-changing services to empower Latinas and their families.
I am proud and honored to chair Mujeres’ Board of Directors and inspired by all the work that Mujeres does to profoundly impact families and com-munities. Our programs and services have touched the lives of more than 16,000 people through direct services and educational outreach in the past year alone. We could not have done this without the help and support of donors and partners like you.
I want to express my deepest appreciation of the work done by Mujeres’ outstanding staff members living the mission every day. Especially in tough
times without a state budget, they continue to embrace the strength, knowledge, and humility needed to create op-portunities for those we serve to take meaningful steps to improve their lives, homes, and communities. Thank you also to the hundreds of volunteers, who bring positive energy into everything we do and are crucial to Mujeres. Your time and commitment are essential. Thank you to the Board of Directors, whose energy, expertise, and leadership are amazing. I would like to acknowledge our Voces Unidas: Version 2.0 Host Committee who worked tirelessly to ensure our success this evening. Also, this evening would not be possible without the support of our corporate sponsors and silent auction donors. Thank you for your generosity and commitment to Latinas and their families!
And finally thank you to all of our guests this evening! May you open your hearts tonight and continue to be a valued supporter of Mujeres’ work. You can create a difference today by making a donation, becoming a volunteer at Mujeres, or by being an advocate for our organization wherever you go. Please take this opportunity to make a commitment to Latinas and their families. We couldn’t have made it this far without you. Look for the Mujeres Ambassadors throughout the room and make a pledge that will ensure Mujeres continues its work for decades to come. Thank you!
Un Abrazo,
Lisa MontezBoard ChairMujeres Latinas en Acción
