Mobile Design Session, Thursday October 29th.
Willem Boijens and German Leon, Concept Lead experience designers
in Vodafone User Experience will take the audience through the design
story of creating a breakthrough user experience for the company’s
latest global consumer proposition, Vodafone 360.
They started their collaboration in 2006, working in a small team
developing future experience scenarios, ideating use cases, devices
and user interfaces in the Dusseldorf offices. Trying to translate the
company strategy into a design vision for future products and services.
Initially creating a buzz showing a ‘Me’ centric communication client to
their executive management at an off-site meeting. Providing
confidence for the business to play a role in the experience economy based on it’s own design equity going forward.
With growing support and appreciation from top-level execs in the
company they shaped their ideas further. To finally develop a full
fledged connected and alive experience concept. Featuring novel spatial paradigms to navigate through your personal network and
events.
They will demonstrate the experience prototypes that brought the
ideas to live in a realistic and credible way early on in the process. Evidencing how the power of imagination and actual experience builds
can be instrumental for a business throughout the journey from initial
idea towards commercial implementation.
