These long beaded chains were worn mainly by mature women and also as one among the seven necklaces worn by the Kandyan bride. The launch of Tusker Golden Truffle Chains Collection follows the inaugural Tusker Necklace Collection and Tusker Bangle Collection. While the majestic ‘Tusker’ adds prestige, it is believed that its depiction in art and craft evokes prosper- ity, good fortune and protection to the wearer. This latest Tusker Golden Truffle Chains have been inspired by the heavy chains that are placed around the neck of a domesticated tusker. These chains in a variety of designs are finely crafted 22 karat gold bead chains, each encrusted with Cubic Zirconia, while the major- ity are varied designs of single strand, two strand as well as multi strand ensembles of chains made from Agates and 22 karat gold. Some designs have evolved from the traditional bead chains, while others are new concepts, which could complement any western outfit. The new collection of Tusker Bangles, made out of 22 karat gold were also introduced. Each of the Tusker designs include an additional 22 karat quarter sovereign Tusker coin. Vogue Jewellers unveiled its latest edition of Tusker Golden Truffle Chains, a collection that breathes new life to the ‘Agasthi Mala’.
