Dear Colleagues,
At the wake of this new financial year, I
am happy to share with you that we
have grown as a Company, broken old
records in many fronts and have set
some new challenges for ourselves for
the year 2011. All this had been made possible through
introspection and learning. Learning follows curiosity
and questioning. After observing the behavior pattern of
kids, I have come to one conclusion – they are curious.
They question almost every thing. This initiates learning .
On the path of life, we should never stop our learning
process. There is so much to know. Someone has rightly
said, “You can teach someone a lesson a day, but if you
teach them curiosity, you will make sure he continues on
the learning path”. Some tips to strengthen learning are:
• Teach someone else what you have learnt and apply it at
work place.
• Be curious and ask questions to learn more.
• Motivate yourself to concentrate to learn.
I am sure that all of us are ready to get, set, go and learn!!
Happy learning.
Dear Friends
This financial year is another year of
promise and another decade of
strengthening the TOPS brand across
the country. My personal con-
gratulations to all of you who made 2010
a rewarding year. We are setting new
trends for ourselves and I am excited by the markets as
India continues to the shine. It brings great promise in
consumer goods and we must scap the benefit. Together,
we all grow. Another aspect of this is to be a keen learner
and focus on what where and how to learn. There is so
much around us, the internet, books, media etc. All offer
learning and knowledge is in abundance. We must tap
these resources to learn.
Let us understand that for staying ahead we need to:-
• Start Learning: Technology is fast expanding and there
is information explosion. There is no fear and shame to
explore and learn the new.
• Continue Learning – Never Stop learning on the
grounds of age and other constraints.
I am sure, we all will definitely grow as an individuals
through learning.

TEN NEW LEARNINGS
1. In order to succeed, your desire
for success should be greater than
your fear of failure
Try not to become a man of success
but rather try to become of a man of value
2. Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you will land among
the stars.
3. The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of
their dreams.
4. Ability can take you to the top, but it takes character to
keep you there.
5. Success is not final, failure is not fatal. It is the courage to
continue that counts.
6. The ladder of success is best climbed by stepping on the
range of opportunity.
7. Your goals are the road maps that guide you and show you
what is possible for your life.
8. Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is
more important than any other.
9. Until you value yourself, you wont value your time, until
you value your time, you will not do anything with it.
10. The teacher who is indeed wise does not bid you to enter
the house of his wisdom but rather leads you to the thresh
hold of your mind.

HUMOUR CORNER
Three sons left home, went out on their own and prospered.
Getting back together, they discussed the gifts they were able
to give their elderly mother. The first said, “I built a big
house for our mother.” The second said, “ I sent her a
Mercedes with a driver. “The third smiled and said, “ I’ve
got you both beat. You remember how mom enjoyed reading
the Bible? And you know she can’t see very well. So I sent
her a remarkable parrot that recites the entire Bible. He’s
one of a kind. Mama just has to name the chapter and the
parrot recites it.” Soon thereafter, mom sent out her letters
of thanks: “Milton,” she wrote to one son, “The house you
built is so huge. I live in only one room but I have to clean
the whole house.”
Gerald,” she wrote to another, “I am too old to travel. I stay
most of the time at home, so I rarely use the Mercedes. And
the driver is also rude!”
Dearest Donald,” she wrote to her third son, “You have the
good sense to know what your mother likes. The chicken was
delicious.

“Health” The Basic Requirement “Tips to be Healthy”
It is very old saying that “HEALTH IS WEALTH” if one is
maintaining good health, he is considered richest person on
earth. Everything, we eat contains calories and everything we do
uses calories, including sleeping, breathing etc. To keep ourself
healthy, the following tips may be useful.
?Drink lots of water as research has shown that who drinks
regularly eight glasses of water everyday, their metabolism
improves which helps in fighting hunger urges. This helps in
weight loss specially in ladies.
?Regular walking is one of the best exercise, specially brisk
walking in the morning or evening. But one must consult his
Doctor before starting brisk walking. A daily walk increases
metabolism and helps in weight loss – those who want to loose
weight.
?Do not allow your regular office work to stress you out, since
stress leads to a number of physical and mental reactions. To
get relief from stress, the deep breathing or to watch calmly
your breath helps to a great extent.
?To maintain proper health, count your calories you consume
and the calories you burn, consume healthy food as per
requirement of your body needs. One must try to avoid fatty
food, such as wafers, cold drinks and chocolates etc.
?Research has shown that 'GREEN TEA' helps in burning
calories. Regular consumption of one to two (with low sugar)
cups of green tea a day can burn up to 60-70 calories. To
maintain good health, one must cut down on booze. Alcohol is
one of the major reason for putting on weight. One consumes
it knowingly or unknowingly so many extra calories through
booze. If one wants to control the weight gain – control your
Booze.
Follow your exercise routine daily, any exercise will help as per
your body's requirement. Do not over do any exercise. If one is
doing Yoga or going to Gym everyday, keep doing and be
happy. One must sleep seven to eight hours a day as lack of
sleep makes one unrested and lazy. Of course sleeping
requirement varies from person to person and age.
STAY HEALTHY – BE HAPPY .

Stay away from life threats. Stay cautious while walking.
?Walk on the footpath against the moving traffic, so you can
see on-coming vehicles.
?Carry your belongings on the shoulder that is away from the
road.
? Walk in the middle of the footpath.
?If traffic is approaching, let is pass. then look around and
listen for traffic if you are on bends or turns. Do not cross
until there is a safe gap in the traffic and you are certain that
there is plenty of time.
?Remember, even if traffic seems to be at a distance, it may be
approaching very quickly.
?When crossing the road, look out for traffic turning into the
road, especially from behind you.
?Always carry contact numbers of your near and dear ones
with you.
Caution can ensure safer lives!
Well Done!
