Shampa Sonthalia'sMOVInG ACTORS
The workshop will explore an actor's relationship with voice, different spaces, with oneself and each other-using our bodies.
This workshop aims not to teach dance but to help actors understand and create movement - to enhance performance or just to be comfortable using their bodies in new, different ways. Dance and choreography will be used as tools to make simple exercises and games which will be done solo or with a partner.
The workshop will leave actors more aware of their own bodies and its relation to things around it.

GOOD HAIRDirected by Jeff Stilson
Chris Rock visits beauty salons and hairstyling battles, scientific laboratories and Indian temples to explore the way hairstyles impact the activities, pocketbooks, sexual relationships, and self esteem of the black community in this expose of comic proportions that only he could pull off.
