Human Condition III: 00:00 in Taipei

Three young men from Southern Taiwan decided to be apprentices in an ironworks inTaipei. The lives in Taipei were really tough especially working with their boss. Theirboss did not treat his employees properly. He always blamed on others, and therewere violent behaviors sometimes. For these three young men, these days are just likenightmares. The only one thing that supported them was the intimate care from theboss’s wife. Every night, the boss’s wife would prepare delicious noodles for them.Another reason that three young men loved to visit the noodle shop was that there is abeautiful girl working there. Her smile and moves attracted all three young men

attentions.One day, a shrill scream appeared at a dark night. What happened? The bosswas dead. His body lied in a pool of blood, and the beautiful girl who works in thenoodle shop was crying beside him. Several years later, these three young men metagain. These stories have become their unforgettable memories.

The look and the atmosphere of the old and abandoned stuff s always attract me. I am

always wondering the stories behinds them. Who used this stuff ? Or where does the

stuff  come from? Every item has its histories and stories no matter in what condition,

texture or look it is. Things got thrown away are much more interesting to me than new

products themselves.

(left) Glove

This is the first photo shot in the photography exhibition. The fingertips of the glove

were gone which makes me curious the story of the glove.

(middle) Baseball Hat

The size of the baseball hat is actually just about to the size of a fist. However, it is

easily misunderstood as a normal size baseball hat from the photo.

(right) Diary

There are many personal stories in the diary, and I felt awkward when reading this diary.

In order to respect the previous owner’s privacy, I chose to just take a photo of the diary

cover only.

In order to celebrate the new air route established on June 19th from Taipei to Houston,

Eva airline collaborates with Sanrio Co., Ltd. to hold the “EVA AIR / Hello Kitty Shining

Star Concert”. The concert will begin in National Theater and Concert Hall on May 9th 

and Tainan Municipal Cultural Center on May 17th with two concerts in each venue.

During the concert, Hello Kitty and Dear Daniel will represent Sanrio Co., Ltd. to perform

Waltz and cooperate with the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra, lead all the audiences to

enjoy the melody of the summer carnival in Taiwan.
