 Yu-guei Sie and Wun-kai Wu’s Chinese 

calligraphy-ikebana co-fair  

Chinese ikebana and calligraphy are originated from traditional arts with our daily life.  

Ikebana integrates floral beauty and artificial thought, which as well indicates how 

Chinese people appreciate the taste of trees and plants; Calligraphy, a sort of fine art 

associated with kanji handwriting, ran the gamut from simplicity to elaborateness, mere 

word records to arts. Yongkang District O ffi ce this time invited teachers Yu-guei Sie and 

Wun-kai Wu for the co-fair in cooperation with Yongkang District Socialist Education  

Center.

Starlight Concert on July 19th

The Starlight Concert on July 19th, 2015 is going to be at the outdoor plaza in Tainan

Cultural Center by Tainan Singers Association! Tainan Singers Association, composedof people who loved singing, was established on March 1st, 2003. Ms. Ting-Syuan

Song is the leader of this group. The purpose that Ms. Song established this

association is to make singing become common activities in people’s daily lives.  

On this night, several Taiwan ballads will be performed by Tainan Singers Association.

It is welcome for everyone to enjoy this musical feast in this Starlight Concert.
