your dues payment. The grace period has past.● Send in registrations for the 2017 convention in
Waco.● Waco convention speakers and class information is
in work and should be available in a few weeks.
● State awards: Nomination packet is now available,and has been posted to the TCPAAA website.
● The web manager would like to post advanceinformation about CPA classes in the Region to helpspread the word, but information on classes isdifficult to find.
● Remember there is an events page on the Regionwebsite; submit your CPAAA event in advance.
● Local newsletters are also on the Region website forthose CPAAA’s that have provided them.

Update on rooms: Although the TCPAAA Convention is still four months away we want toremind everyone that the hotels are already filling up. There are no rooms left in theconvention block at the Hilton Hotel and at the Courtyard Marriott a recent check onlyshowed 15 rooms left. Additional hotels are being sought out.
For either hotel to receive the special rate, advise the hotel you are with the Texas CitizenPolice Academy Alumni Association Convention 2017.
