Millennials Ice Skating and Pizza-Adults in their 20s and 30s are invited to a fun evening presented by YIOP and YIS on Sat., Feb. 2, at 8:30PM, at the Southfield Ice Arena. Admission is $15 and includes skate rental and pizza with fries and soft drinks. Please register with your payment by noon, on Thurs, Jan. 31, online at https://www.yiop.org/event/millennial-skate or by phone at (248) 967-3655. Walk-ins will be accepted for $20/person but with pizza availability tbd and not guaranteed.

Volunteers are needed to work at the Wintergarden West Fundraiser in Livonia Sun., Feb. 3 through Wed., Feb. 6. Volunteers are needed during the following times: 7PM-2AM on Sun., 11AM-2AM on Mon. & Tues. and 6PM-2AM on Wed. If you can volunteer, even for a few hours, please sign up on the hall bulletin board or call the office. No experience needed. We must have 3 volunteers per shift.

Super Bowl event at YIOP on Sun., Feb. 3, at 5:30PM. Watch the game on a giant screen. We will serve sliders chicken wings, hot dogs, and more. Games for all ages. Cost: Adults $10, Children (12 & under) $5, at the door $15 per person. Reservations are due by Thurs., Jan. 31. To make your reservations call 248 967-3655 or email [email protected].

Bnei Akiva will be hosting a Shabbaton the weekend of Feb. 8-9. If you can provide housing (for sleeping only), please contact Yonaton, at 248 764-0681.

YIOP Movie Night, Feb. 23, at 8PM. We will be showing “Operation Finale”, a 2018 film that details the daring capture of Hitler’s lieutenant Adolph Eichmann in Argentina in 1960. This event is free. The event is sponsored by Mark & Badonna Berkman.

YIOP’s Annual Dinner will take place on Sunday, March 10. We will be honoring Milt Neuman and our High School graduates. Please send in your ad journal forms. All forms are due on Feb. 8. If you would like to be included in the 6 pages for $100, and/or have your child’s name listed in the future generation page, please call the office.

YIOP Girls camp will take place from July 22-Aug. 9, from 9AM-3PM for girls entering 2nd-6th grade. Early Bird Special ends on April 1. Registration fee $50 (taken off total price) Member price $150 per week, Non Member price $160 per week. After April 1st, cost $180 per week.
