W e have successfully set up our long-awaited

representative office in Ho Chi Minh City,

Vietnam!

With the blessings of Vietnam’s Commercial Depart-

ment, under Licence Number 41-003179, our HCMC

Rep Office licence is valid from 14th January 2011 to

14th January 2016.

Our new freehold Singapore office space

A s part of our investment

strategy, Intech Pumps

(Asia Pacific) Pte Ltd

has finalized our purchase of a

new freehold property — 1,367

square feet of office space at

Cititech Industrial Building, 629

Aljunied Road #07-12.

The building where the office

space is located is pictured on

the right.

Our plan for this new property

is to rent it out to a light

industry tenant. We are

currently looking out for a

suitable tenant.

At the end of the summit, Friatec organized a day of

sightseeing for all the delegates. The summit ended on

2nd December 2010.

I n late November 2010, the annual Friatec Asian

Summit was held in Bali. The event took place in

Discovery Kartika Plaza Hotel over five days, with

representatives from 12 countries attending.

Intech Pumps sent representatives from Singapore,

Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam. In this meeting, we

learnt about Friatec’s newly designed molten salt pump,

GVSO and also their sales volume for year 2009 and

2010.

Besides that, each country also presented their sales

volume and we shared some sales ideas and market

information during the meeting.

On 1st December, there was a special 30-minute

training session on GIPU pump, conducted by Friatec’s

Dr Juergen Weinerth (see picture at right).

W e are pleased to announce that, in addition to

Intech Pumps’ existing rights to represent the

BÖRGER brand in Malaysia and Vietnam,

PT Intech Pumps Indonesia has also recently been

appointed Authorized Distributor for BÖRGER Rotary

Lobe Pumps and Macerating Technology products for

the Indonesian market.

Under this new agreement, PT Intech will represent

Boerger Pumps Asia Pte Ltd in the oil & gas,

petrochemical, chemical and fertilizer industries for the

next two years.

The agreement is renewable automatically on a yearly

basis.

Boerger and Intech Pumps will jointly participate in the

Oil & Gas exhibition to be held in Jakarta International

Expo on 21st to 24th September 2011.

I ntech Pumps Group’s eagerly

awaited year-end company

trip saw the Group’s staff

flying to exotic Bali on 3rd to 5th

December. On this trip, everyone

at Intech enjoyed ourselves and

got to know one another better.

The trip started with a welcome

dinner at a local restaurant. Shop

talk, small talk and chit-chat filled

the Balinese atmosphere during

the dinner as everyone immersed

in the warmth of our regional

colleagues’ camaraderie.

Sight-

seeing was

on the

agenda the

next day.

The fun

continued

with

activities

including

a beach

volleyball

tournament

and a lucky draw at a beachfront

seafood dinner, which all added to the excitement of the

company trip — not to mention cash winnings for the

lucky winners!

Not to be missed, more excitement ensued with

partying into the night at Bali’s famous Hard

Rock Cafe, where we celebrated Daniel’s

birthday (he even went up to the stage)!

In the early

morning of the

last day of the

trip, we

managed to

have a

group

snapshot

before

everyone

rushed

out for last -

minute shopping prior to

departing to the airport for home!

T wo of our female colleagues tied

the knot on the same day — Sunday, 23rd

January 2011.

Our heartiest congratulations to Nita Angela and

Samantha Chong and warmest blessings as they tie their

respective nuptial knots!

Some Intech colleagues from Malaysia and Singapore

were at the Grand Imperial Restaurant in Subang USJ19

City Mall to celebrate Samantha’s marriage to Mr An

Hee Lin, while other colleagues from Jakarta, Surabaya

and Singapore were at the Shangrila-La Hotel in Jakarta

to witness the matrimony of Nita to Mr Ronny Ngoe.
