The technical competences within Bulten, along with many years of experience of successfully supplying complex and critical fasteners to the automotive industry, were the main contributors in winning this prestigious contract. Deliveries will start at the end of 2018, and will gradually increase up to full capacity in 2020. After that, deliveries will continue over a number of years related to the life span of the vehicle, which is normally between 5 to 10 years with a gradual slowdown as the car model nears its end. “With this contract, we have made a significant breakthrough on the North American market and further strengthened our position as a manufacturer of high-quality fasteners. We see good opportunities to continue to grow the business and increase our market share”, said Tommy Andersson, President and CEO of Bulten. Global Industrial Fasteners Market To Top $130 Billion via 5.3% Average Annual Growth over the Next Decade

According to Research and Markets, the global industrial fasteners mar-ket is expected to reach US$134.20 billion by 2025. The growing demand

for automobiles, electronics appliances, aircraft, industrial machinery and medical equipment will

Fastener Fair India 2017: Mumbai Edition Ends Positive

The fourth edition of Fastener Fair India held in Mumbai, India, took place from April 28 to 29, 2017, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. The exhibition attracted 3632 Indian and interna-tional visitors, and 186 exhibiting companies were present at the two-day event.

The largest edition of Fastener Fair India to date, attracted exhibi-tors from all over the world. While the majority of the show’s exhibi-tors were from India, international exhibitors came from Germany, Italy, France, Spain, China and Taiwan. They showcased a range of industrial fasteners and fixings, assembly and installation systems, storage and logistics services, fas-tener manufacturing technology and construction fixings.

The specialized exhibition at-tracted visitors from many key in-dustry sectors including mechanical engineering, automotive industry and hardware retailing. Distribu-tors, wholesalers and retailers were also in attendance.

Exhibitions (India) Pvt. Ltd. said that Fastener Fair India will return

to New Delhi in 2018. The exhibition takes place from May 18 to 19, 2018, at the Pragati Maidan Exhibition Centre in New Delhi, India.
