A Message From Our President
As I write this article I ambreathing a sigh of reliefbecause our community wasspared this past weekend withHurricane Dorian movingnorth. What I can definitelytell you is that we are in goodhands here in Broward County
and in our cities of Coral Springs and CoconutCreek. The professionalism that I witnessed atthe Coral Springs Emergency Operations Centerwas incredible and I sincerely appreciate AlexFalcone, Emergency Manager for the City ofCoral Springs, as well as the entire team. Whenyou actually get to see the EOC in person it isso reassuring to know how everyone workstogether to ensure our safety. I also had aunique opportunity to hear an FPL conferencecall and was so grateful for the preemptiveactions taken by FPL to ensure that they wereready to act and make our power come backquickly. They had a crew of over 17,000
