He was a dear friend to us and GHI. Our loss is beyond words. He was leading a tour in Israel when he suffered a fatal heart attack. We ask for special prayer for his family and for our church as we grieve this massive loss. I am writing you in my last week of an interim, pastoral ministry in England for a an- other friend and his wife. In spite of being away from Dottie for such a long time, God has been good to us in so many ways, so thank you for your ongoing prayer support! In addition, renewing some old friendships of ours and the great weather here has made it almost bearable! Since our June prayer letter, God has provided : about half ($18,000) of what we needed for our Father’s Home Orphanage budget (with one month to go); $3,700 to provide another well in Ghana; $500 towards the $1,700 for replacing sound equip- ment for one of our teams in Ghana; and finally, thousands of souls who heard the Gospel and believed! So God is indeed answering prayer! Now read on and read of some of the mighty works that are being done through GHI and the missionaries on our team in Ghana and India: JULY GHANA & INDIA PROJECTS This month promises to be a great month of harvesting! New Hope Chapel in West- borough, MA is sending a team of five to partner with us and our team in Ghana led by Eugene Narh and his team of four. This is their first mission trip with us and they are facing a schedule of 62 schools, churches and film crusades during those two weeks of work. Pray for their stamina and endurance to finish their race ministry near the equator can be very hard at times! Here is a recent testimony from one of our teams: My mother died early and I stayed with her three sisters alternatively to attend school because my father failed to take care of me. This unstable lifestyle had a negative impact on me while I was growing up. I just had the feeling that I was unloved and so become an introvert and removed from my friends. When an elderly woman showed me love and showered gifts on me, I totally surrendered myself to her. This woman was a lesbian and so I was ushered into that way of life. I therefore left the custody of my aunt and lived with this woman. Her demands on my body became very excessive and exhaustive so that I started complaining but to no avail. (continued from page 1)

She started blackmailing me and threatened to kill me if I thought of leaving her. One day, I had the privilege of watching the “Passion of the Christ” and had a confrontation with the Lord and came out of the encounter on my knees. I have totally declared for the Lord and repented of my sins and be-cause I do not want any distractions, I have decided to leave town and go to live with my father so that I can practice my new found faith. Thank you for helping me and please remember to pray for me to be steadfast in my faith. Grace Kai Allotey is a young woman who wants to live for the Lord. In addition, our India Director James Sundar and his son Sam are hosting Evangelist Charlie Ross from Scotland and Pastor Jeff Nettles from Platteville, WI. Both are no strangers to this country. Jeff made his first trip to India in 1995 and Charlie in 1997. They will be in high schools, colleges, churches, villages, teaching in Harvesters Theological College and holding a Pastor’s Conference during their busy two week schedule. They will be working with our local pastors, evangelists and college students to reach thousands with the message of the Gospel. For both teams - pray for God to open the hearts of those who will hear; the remainder of their funding to come in, for safety, health, anointing and finally for the rains to stay away during those days. Through May, we have preached the Gospel in 308 venues to over 103,000 people with nearly 41,000 making first time decisions for Christ! This can only happen as a result of those of you who faithfully intercede for us and give unselfishly. Bless you one and all!

Following is a report directly from India Dear Mack and Dottie, I am happy to share with you about our May outreaches into our community. The Lord was gracious to us and went before us every day as we went out to bring in the harvest. Vacation Bible School By the grace of God, we had a wonderful Vacation Bible School in first week of May, 2011. The theme of this VBS was “Walk in His Ways”. Around 130 children came from the surrounding villages and were blessed. Most of the children were from Hindu homes. We are glad that God gave us the privilege to teach songs, memory verses, Bible lessons and to lead them to Christ. By the grace of God our pastors and the students from Har-vesters Theological College actively partici-pated in this ministry. On the last day the children enacted dramas, performed choreography, sang songs and recited memory verses. The Gospel was shared clearly and many children made a decision for Christ. Please do pray that these children will stay true to their commitment to Christ. Pray also that these children would be able to influence their families and community for Christ.

GHI Local Ministry

We ministered in two phases from the 9th –14th and from the 24th-27th May 2011. The Gospel was shared door to door in 37 villages. Door to door evangelism, going where the people are, is still the best evangelistic method. In Veerathangal village, we found a lady in front of the Hindu Temple, she is a widow and a mother of 6 children but all her children deserted her and showed her the door. She took shelter in a Hindu temple hoping that a god would care for her. Though she is begging, she is not getting sufficient money to buy food for even a day. We met her and shared Jesus. It was the first time she heard the Gospel. God opened her heart to receive Jesus. Her poor circumstances have not changed but she has hope that Jesus would care for her on this earth and will take her to His home in Heaven. The uncared woman realized that Jesus cared for her and died for her on the cross. The Gospel gave her joy and happiness. In Chettithangal village, we saw a young man. He met with an accident and broke his back bone. He was walking with the help of a walker. We shared the Gospel with him and prayed for his healing. God heard his

prayer and saved him; and like-wise, God heard our prayers and healed him. Now, he walks freely without any support. The next day we found him reading the Bi-ble - Praise be to God! In Karigaripalli we met a widow and her two married daughters. She and her daughters do not have sons and according to Hindu be-liefs they thought they were cursed because of no male babies. They heard the Gospel and took Jesus as their Lord and Savior. They renounced their idol wor-ship, removed all their idols from their house and opened their house to Jesus by starting a prayer cell in their house. First the heart and then their home!

In Mayakuppam village, our Pastor Richard took the help of a man named Kiriskumar, a Hindu, to translate his message into Telugu from Tamil. He was preaching the Gospel to five young men. When he heard of the suffering and death of Jesus on the Cross he broke and wept. He took a decision for Christ. By the grace of God, we preached the Gospel in 37 villages. Around 1,595 people heard the Gospel and 1,068 people took decisions for Christ .

HTC and DTS come together for four conferences The Lord in his grace brought one of my for-mer professors, his students and friends from Dallas Theological Seminary on the 17th of May 2011. Dr. Scott Horrell, Mr. Matthew Ballmann , Mrs Natalie Ballmann and Rev. Ross Bebee ministered among us from the 18th to the 22nd. Organized by Harvesters Theological College, we staged four events: a church planters con-ference on “Exploring the 1st Century Church” on the 18th at our HTC campus; a conference on “Knowing the Triune God” on the 19th and 20th in Vellore at Voorhees College; a women’s conference on “Being a women after God’s own heart” on the 19th at Ponnai Anicut; and a retreat and children program on the 22nd at our church in Bethelpuram. They were a huge blessing and a source of great encouragement to us. The pastors’ conference was attended by pastors and evangelists across denominational lines from Church of South India (Anglican), Evangelical Church of India, Methodist, Churches of Episcopal fellowship of India, As-semblies of God, Church of Christ and many independent Pentecostal churches. All the participants were blessed by these conferences. It was wonderful to confess the Nicene Creed collectively. These conferences also enabled us to forge a good relationship with Christian ministers from other denominations. With Love, James and Sam

Many people, making even the smallest of donations, enable Gospel Harvesters International to reach others

with the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are funded by the generosity of people like you; and not funded or en-

dowed by any group or denomination. Thanks for your prayerful and generous support.

Dottie joins me in sending out love,

Mack
