Cub Scouts Create Pinecone Birdfeeders for Our Feathered Friends

While others may have been out enjoying a beautiful autumn day, members of Cub Scout Pack 110/383 engaged in community service—creating over 50 pinecone birdfeeders.

Volunteer Recognition

Our thanks to students and teachers of The Swain School for helping to keep Cedar Creek Parkway clean and beautiful. Over 30 students, trash bags in hand, scoured the park while enjoying the fresh morning air (as well as all the sights and sounds in the park).

After placing several in trees, everyone went to watch the ducks in the ponds. One young man was quite impressed with the whole experience, exclaiming: “There’s so much more to a park than just a playground! There’s water and lots of trees.” Friends of the Allentown Parks—educating the next generation...one child at a time.
