HonduHonduras is the second largest country in Central America and

is also home to the Mayan Civilization, with presence around

the city of Copan in Western Honduras. Honduras is famous for

its ancient Mayan ruins, Pacic and Caribbean coastline and

Bay Island with spectacular beaches and coral reefs for diving

and snorkeling. Our Volunteering Programs are situated in La

Ceiba, the third largest city of the country yet with small town

wawarmth. It is located on the North Coast of Honduras and is

not far from some great beaches.

Volunteers joining this program work in a primary school for disabled children in La Ceiba. Volunteering in this Project will allow you to play a crucial role in the lives of these children. Your tasks in this project may include helping to improve or develop the communication level of the children. Volunteers in the Teaching English Program teach English to primary and middle school students in schools, community centers as well as orphanages.
