Volunteers in South Australia

Volunteering in South Australia was at a crossroads.

Traditionally, State Government led the development of

volunteering policy, programs and resources.

In 2013 an opportunity was identified to create a cross-sector

strategy to advance volunteering across South Australia.

The Volunteering Strategy for South Australia was launched in

2014 providing a coordinated approach to promote and sustain

volunteering over the next six years.
