ACCOMMODATIONS ABOUT THE AREA

WESTIN SNOWMASS HOTEL/WILDWOOD LODGE:

The Westin Snowmass (formerly the Silvertree) features fully renovated guest rooms, a new luxurious lobby, lounge and public area, five new restaurants, a new Westin Spa and a Westin Workout fitness center. This has all been redone since VOS was there in 2011.

The Wildwood combines the warmth and comforts of a mountain lodge with the convenience of being just steps from the slopes, the Snowmass Village Mall, and the Snowmass Village Conference Center. The Wildwood has also been renovated since the last VOS conference. Both hotels have convenient access to shopping, dining, and all of the Village’s recreational and cultural activities.

Aspenwood Condominiums are centrally located just a short walk from the Village Mall. Aspenwood features charming studios and studio/lofts all with fully equipped kitchens, TV/VCRs, fireplaces, heated outdoor pool and hot tub, 100 yards to the slopes.

Lichenhearth Condominiums are in a prime ski-in, ski-out location, adjacent to the Fanny Hill ski lift. All studio and one-bedroom condominiums feature a fireplace, private balcony and a fully equipped kitchen. Amenities include a heated pool, whirlpool, sauna, covered parking, and free laundry facilities

Terracehouse Condominiums are located two levels below the Snowmass Village Mall, these beautiful Aspen Snowmass condo rentals are just a short walk from the ski slope and convenient to everything Snowmass Village has to offer. Amenities include fully equipped kitchens, heated walkways, private ski lockers, and complimentary Aspen airport transfers.

The Interlude Condominiums are very convenient, particularly in terms of ski access. They’re located above the Snowmass Village Shopping Plaza and directly on Fanny Hill. These beautifully appointed two- and three-bedroom units feature exposed beam ceilings, brick fireplaces, and fully equipped kitchens. All units have balconies for enjoying the wonderful views. Amenities include complete laundry facilities, daily maid service, elevators, covered parking, easy access to pool and whirlpools.

ABOUT THE AREA AND THE MOUNTAIN Breathtaking, exhilarating and huge are just a few ways to describe the crown jewel of Colorado – Snowmass Village. Already famous for endless terrain (over 3,300 acres) and a vertical drop of more than 4,400 feet it has always been a favorite venue for VOS members.

Snowmass Village also plays host to an expert terrain park and the heart pumping steeps in KT Gully, Hanging Valley and the Cirque. Add in fine dining and tons of slope side shops and you have a destination that will bring you memories of a lifetime.

Snowmass Village is the fantasy mountain where intermediates suddenly ski like French Olympian Jean-Claude Killy and beginners fall in love with the sport. Experts feel like they have hit the Mother Lode.

Discover the seven high-speed quads and excellent restaurants sprinkled everywhere you want to take a break, including elegant table service at Gwynn’s High Alpine.

There are 80 kilometers of wide-open, groomed cross country trails for the Nordic skiers connecting Snowmass Village, Aspen and other parts of the spectacular Roaring Fork Valley.

Although only a few miles from Aspen, Snowmass Village has its own distinct village offering fine restaurants and charming boutiques and other shops.

Other optional activities to add while there include: Ice skating (in Aspen); dogsled rides, snowmobiling, first tracks, snowshoeing and a myriad of other cultural and adventure choices.
