Food safety and Hygiene Tips for Packed Lunches (NSW Department of Health) * Use an insulated lunch box or carry-bag. * Use a frozen ice-brick or frozen drink bottle in the lunchbox. * Freeze sandwiches the night before, as both a time-saver and to keep foods cool. * Chill cooked foods (like boiled eggs)before packing the lunch. *Store lunch boxes in a cool spot (in the fridge if possible) * Ensure children wash hands thoroughly before mealtimes and after going to the toilet or handling pets.

The healthy eating rewards program is underway with a few children already halfway towards their 10 stamps on their certificates- great work and keep up the healthy eating it is fantastic to see! Walk to school day is this Friday 18th May and orders for the Breakfast close on Thursday so please ensure your orders are in so you don't miss out on pancakes on the BBQ, a drink and a piece fruit. Sports for Schools
As you are aware, last year we took part in the „Sports for Schools‟ Coles program. We had a fantastic collection with seventy two thousand one hundred and sixty nine (72 169) vouchers collected. This was a terrific effort and I would like to extend my appreciation to everyone who became involved in the program. With this number in hand we went online and purchased a variety of equipment for all the children at Kirrawee Public School to use.
The equipment has now arrived and we would like you to see what we have purchased. A variety of different balls (which we badly needed) to a mini-trampoline, rebounding soccer nets, tennis and table-tennis equipment, volleyballs and nets, a range of tabloid equipment and much more.
The photo shows the equipment we received.
WOW !

classroom. Woolworths has more cards available
These sticker charts help us to get valuable resources for our school.
Thank you so much for your support.
