Create direct link between Brockman St and Mottram St by creating footpath and stairs near existing water feature
Potential for community and/or commercial facility (cafe/restaurant, creche, youth, meeting rooms, health centre etc) to attract a wide user group to Manjin Park, smaller buildings with landscaped surroundings and courtyards, long term uses subject to further investigation; in the short term area can be used as a grassed events space
Promote frequent activities in community area for various user groups
Relocate Farmers Market to car park area which provides more space on permanent sealed surfaces, provide shade through waterproof and permanent shade sails
Establish skatepark for intermediate and expert users with bowls, street elements and sealed surrounding areas, integrate existing stage in skate park and locate skate elements around existing trees
Provide area for adults and seniors with recreation activities such as chess, bocce (as per existing pit in Manjin Park) in southern end of Coronation Park, provide signage with play instructions and Visitors Centre to hire equipment

Remove existing playground, provide a range of informal play elements and opportunities for all age groups adjacent to potential community/commercial facility
Relocate Munda Biddi Trail information display into Linear Park near Visitors Centre
Improve aesthetics of existing gabions with climbing/hanging plants and/or integrate soil pockets for planting within gabions
Provide bike hire with 24h access by using a computerised hire system and pick up/drop off points at key locations (e.g. Visitors Centre, Timber & Heritage Park, Allambie Park)
Improve existing tree planting to achieve better growth (soil aeration, check and improve irrigation system, undertake soil test and provide nutrients if necessary, consult with arborist in regards to long term management)
Improve quality of integrated/art signage at the entrances to Manjin Park at Mottram St to attract visitors to the park and facilities
Create link between Mottram St reserve and Manjin Park by continuing street tree planting into the park
