Gentle work followed by a dynamic stretch session in the FIT gym. 6pm: Intro talk, weekly plan and weather forecast update. 8pm: Healthy dinner and overnight at W Verbier. MONDAY 28 AUGUST 8am: Breakfast at W Kitchen. 9am: HIKE to Chez Dany 8km 450 vertical meters. A stunning climb up with stunning views. . Lunch at W Verbier. 2pm: Free time to relax and detox in Away Spa or simply read a book on your private balcony. 3pm: Parcours Vita – from monkey bars to pull up hoops, outdoor stations are placed in the beautiful pine forest linked by undulating trails. 5pm: Introduction to trail running. For all levels. 8pm: Healthy dinner and overnight at W Verbier. TUESDAY 29 AUGUST 8am: Hips & hamstrings guided stretch session at FIT Gym. 9am: Breakfast at W Kitchen. 10am: Hill sprints or strengthening HIIT circuit – lactate threshold training, focusing on cardio fitness, with a wholebody approach. 11am: Core conditioning and TRX/balance – focus on postural alignment, balance and inner core strength. Using body weight, free weights, TRX and pilates. Lunch at W Verbier. 2pm: High altitude hike taking you to 2320m, hiking around the whole bowl overlooking Verbier. W Hotel - marlenaz - below pierre avoir - all way to ruinettes and down 13,5 km. 5pm: Introduction to trail running. For all levels. 8pm: Healthy dinner and overnight at W Verbier. WEDNESDAY 30 AUGUST 8am: Ultra Shock metabolism boosting HIIT circuit. 9am: Breakfast at W Kitchen. 10am: Animal flow – Improve flexibility, endurance, strength and power. 12pm: St Christophe – Conscious breathing and postures combined to develop self awareness, strength, flexibility and overall relaxation. Picnic lunch. 2pm: Return from St Christophe and free time. 4pm: Interval session either trail run or spin. 6pm: Assisted stretch. 8pm: Healthy dinner and overnight at W Verbier. 7-NIGHT FITNESS RETREAT / SUNDAY 27 AUGUST - SUNDAY 3 SEPTEMBER 2017 FITNESS RETREAT @ALTITUDE W VERBIER & MOUNTAIN BEACH FITNESS RETREATS PRESENT: THURSDAY 31 AUGUST 8am: Breakfast at W Kitchen. 9am: Day long hike to Lac Louvie – rated as one of the top 10 hiking trails in Switzerland. Total distance 17 km, approx time 7 hrs. Difficulty rating 7/10. Picnic lunch. 2pm: From Ruinette (2200m) we walk towards le Chaux, then we circumnavigate around the famous Le Bec des Rosses. The terrain descends down towards the crystal clear glacial Lac de Louvie. The stunning trail follows the valley down towards the Mauvoisin damn along the valley with stunning views of the Petit Combin glacier. 6pm: Steam at Away Spa. 8pm: Healthy dinner and overnight at W Verbier. FRIDAY 1 SEPTEMBER 8am: Mindful movement with an athletic focus. 9am: Breakfast at W Kitchen. 10am: Drive to Champex Lake. 11am: Core conditioning & upper body strength session, using pilates techniques and focusing on inner core strength. 12pm: Paddle boarding Picnic lunch. 2pm: Return to Verbier and free time to relax. 4pm: Ultra Shock plyometrics, mix: metabolism boosting HIIT circuit. 5pm: Assisted strech 8pm: Healthy dinner and overnight at W Verbier. SATURDAY 2 SEPTEMBER 8am: Animal flow – fun and challenging class using ground based movement and body weight training. 9am: Breakfast at W Kitchen. 10am: Hike to Piere Avoi at 2600 m. 3 hrs ascend. Difficulty rating 8. Enjoy the breathtaking 360 degree views. Picnic lunch. 5pm: Steam at Away Spa. 6pm: Balance techniques and body awareness session – Through mindful movement we will bring balance, strength and an overall sense of well being. 8pm: Healthy dinner and overnight at W Verbier.
