WACE IRG Newsletter #02 October 2016 View this email in your browser WACE IRG Quarterly Newsletter Welcome to our second WACE-IRG Newsletter! For the past month, our five Regional Vice-Chairs have been busy working with Dr. Twyford compiling the news and collecting pictures to showcase in this issue. While reading through, I am certain you will share my enthusiasm for what has been a very productive quarter for our members. This issue highlights their many successes from winning research and service awards, to offering multi-day workshops, to presenting research findings at the many CWIE events held around the globe. It’s an exciting time for us as we move the research agenda forward. I am pleased to announce that since June, we have increased our membership by 25%. We now have 101 members representing 17 countries. With such a rapid increase, Marty Ford has been busy updating the roster on our website . As 2016 draws to a close, we should all be very proud of how far we’ve come with advancing research in cooperative education and work-integrated learning. I look forward to an engaging and productive 2017, beginning with the second WACE-IRG Grant competition in January. Looking forward to seeing many of you at the WACE World Conference in Chiang Mai in June 2017. Warm regards, Dr. Maureen Drysdale Executive Chair - WACE International Research Group
