KS3 RESIDENTIAL EXPERIENCE

• When? Week beginning 16th October; each group will go for two days and one night.
• Where? Porthpean near St Austell• Who? All year 7 pupils will attend• How much? £70 voluntary contribution (please speak
to me after or email me if any problems)

ACTIVITIES
• Each of the students will take part in a half day of activities on the beach (either kayaking, canoeing and coasteerring) *weather dependant*
• Each of you will take part in a half day of land based activities (high ropes, leap of faith & zip wire)
• In the evening you will do team games and circus skills!
WHAT TO BRING – FOR ACTIVITIES…
Two complete sets of old clothing suitable for outdoor activitiesOld trainers/plimsolls/wet shoes for watersportsOld trainers or wellies for land based activitiesWaterproof jacket and trousersSwim wearSun hat, woolly hat and sun cream

DON’T BRING THESE THINGS…
• Due to the outdoor aspect of the camp, all items of clothing may get wet and/or muddy –please don’t wear/bring new gear!
• A campsite is not a safe place for items such as mobile phones, i-pods, mp3 players etc.
• Usual school rules apply regarding knives, matches, lighters etc.
• There are no shops so don’t bring any money
