WHY A MORNING ROUTINE IS IMPORTANTHaving a daily practice, is key to manifestation. There is something magical and peaceful about mornings, your mind is at rest and can be filled with whatever you want. What you fill it with is what you are creating in your life. The day has infinite possibil-ities to create what you want.

Why the morning?This is not to say you can’t or shouldn’t have other routines throughout the day that can also support your success but this e-course will focus on the morn-ing hours which we will identify as the time before you either leave the house or start work for the day.

A morning routine can make a huge difference in:• overall mood and attitude• productivity and confidence levels• clarity in your daily plans and goal setting• emotion management• how you feel about yourself• insights about what you want• creative ideas• feeling at peace • decision making • calming your nervous system• aligning your thoughts and actions to your dreams• activating your body and loosening muscles• recommitting to your priorities• and so much more...

Why a routine?The word routine innately suggests repetition and commitment, doing anything over and over will allow you to get better at it. I like to think of it as a training that will also serve you in other places in your life where commitment is needed.

A morning routine gives you the opportunity to check-in and talk to yourself which is the most important relationship to develop and strengthen. If you master your thoughts you master your life.

SUMMARY

Mornings have special manifesting energy.

Morning routines set the tone for your day by aligning your thoughts to your goals.

Consistency is the key to lasting change.

You can be, do or have any-thing you create in your mind.

Hearing your own thoughts and developing a relationship with yourself is the most important relationship.

HOW TO DO THISThe main point is to create a space to be still and hear yourself think and vision out what you want for your-self. Keep this in mind when selecting activities for your routine, they should support creating this space.

It is best done as close to when you wake up as possi-ble and with as little outside influences interfering like email, phone, kids, partners, etc.

This is your time and should be considered sacred.

If you live with someone, ask for this time to be respected and detail out what that means for the other person. (ie. don’t talk to me for 30 minutes or until I come out of the room.)

A secret...Work it into what already exists, this is not about making you be someone you are not. If you don’t like waking up early, then don’t, although to fit some new things in you might need an extra few minutes added. Start with small shifts and master them first before adding more.

A fact...Everything is created twice, first as a thought in your head and then when you apply belief and a plan of action, it materializes into the world. Using the morn-ing to set the tone for your day and your life will bring what you desire into the world faster and with less stress and effort.

Things to look forward to...You will become a conscious decision maker.You will care less about what others say. You will see how powerful you really are.You will learn to hear your intuition.You will have the things you want.You will become unstoppable with what you can create.The possibilities are endless

SUMMARY

Being still so you can hear yourself think and vision out what you want for yourself is the first step in creating it.

This time should be considered sacred.

Start small so that you set yourself up for success.

Mornings set the tone for the day, et your intentions so you can be aware of opportunities.

Once you master hearing your thoughts, the possibilities are endless.

MY ROUTINE

I LOVE MY MORNINGS :)My routine changes slightly over time, but it will always have some or all of these components. When I do them all, I feel very powerful.

Below is the routine that I was doing during the thick of creating my business and transforming my mind. I know it played a huge role in creating success in my life.

HYDRATEI wake up and drink 1 or 2 glasses of warm water.

STILLNESSI meditate for minimum 10 mins, I set my iphone timer

BRAIN DRAINWhile I drink my coffee I begin brain drain in my journal. I write for at least 3 pages but often more. My journal is where I work out my ideas, thoughts and feelings. I go through different possibilities and get curious about how things could pan out. I also get clear about what I want to accomplish that day.

CREATE MY LIFEWhen I finish writing, I start actively creating my life by reading outloud pre-written notecards broken out with 3 different exercises:

EXERCISE 1 - I AM LISTI read I AM statements to remind myself that I already am what I seek to be and I am what I believe I am. This is a powerful way to reframe your brain. EX: I am confident, creative, fit, adundant, etc...

EXERCISE 2 - THREE QUESTIONSI answer outloud or to myself these three questions: I am grateful for ______________________________I forgive myself for ____________________________What I appreciate about myself is ________________

This keeps us actively in gratitude and forgiveness which are powerful vibrations for creation.

Both fear and faith demand you to believe in something you can’t see.

Why not have faith then?!

EXERCISE 3 - GOAL CARDSI read a little stack of notecards outloud or to myself. Each card relates to a different area of my life. (ie. love, work, home, money, health, friends, family, etc...) They are crafted to pull me into the vision I have for my life in all these areas. Where my energy goes, my life flows.

This is the time to energize your dreams.

All of the cards start with this sentence:I’m so happy and grateful now that...

Example of one of my cards: I’m so happy and grateful now that I am living in my new dream loft apartment in downtown Manhattan with my dog and boyfriend. It’s 2000 sq. ft. (or more) with an elevator that opens into the loft. My neigh-bors are awesome - we are all friends and supportive to each other. I have a bedroom, art studio/office and plenty of space to exercise and move. There is so much room for guests, they come all the time - it’s fun! I love my home, I wake up excited and in love with life!

When you feel grateful, more things show up to be grateful for. Incorporating gratitude into your routine and life is a great way to stay present and in joy.

IDEAS FOR MAKING YOUR ROUTINEStart off with picking 1 or 2 new things to add to your morning and commit to adding them if for 30 days (or more) in the morning before deciding if its ‘working’ or not. Change takes time.

You can always add more or change it later, this is about discovering what works for you and might take time. Don’t give up, change can be hard and scary but usually worth it.

Into the Body Drink 2 glasses of warm water

Take vitamins or medications

Drink a juice green

Drink a smoothie

Drink tea or tinktures

Eat breakfast

Mental Movement Write in a journal

Sit and be silent - meditate for 10 minutes

Intention setting

Say I AM statements - positive thinking

Say gratitude goal cards

Breathe

Read a book

Picking a card from tarot deck

Create to-be list

Create to do list

Writing as part of a creative project

Write your dreams down

Physical Movement Stretch / Yoga

Go for a walk, walk the dog

Squats, situps, push-ups

Productive commute - listen to audio, make calls while you are in transit
