ONLINE GIVING Wakemans Grove's website, www.wakemansgrove.com, now offers online tithing and fund contributions. These secure transactions are through PayPal, and you do not need to be a PayPal member to do this. This happens the same way as any online transaction - funds get debited directly from your debit or credit card. At this time, there isn't an option for automatic weekly or monthly withdrawals. This is a great way for people to give an offering if you're away or not able to come to church. You can designate a specific fund, memorial name, or envelope number. Just follow the instructions. Please contact Angie Vann if you have any questions about using the online tithing. CDs of the Worship Service are available upon request within 30 minutes after the service. Please see the Sound Tech at the back of the sanctuary. Please contact Nathaniel Dirting. Also audio sermons are available on the church's website. PHOTOGRAPHY, VIDEOGRAPHY, AND AUDIO RECORDING Services recorded by audio and video are a part of WGCOB witness and outreach ministry. If anyone does not wish to have their picture published, they must sign a DO NOT RELEASE IMAGES form. These are available in the Church Office or from Mike Dirting, chair of the Worship Commission. Questions may be directed to the Worship Commission.

  • The Deacons would like some input from the congregation on nominations for upcoming Deacon placement. Please pray and think about couples in our congregation, who are members, who can be used by God in this capacity. According to I Timothy 3:8-12, a deacon should be worthy of respect, sincere, not indulging in much wine, and not pursing dishonest gain. They must keep hold of the deep truths of the faith with a clear conscience. They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them let them serve as deacons. They must be temperate, not malicious talkers and trustworthy in everything. They must be the husband of one wife and manage their children and household well. Please feel free to write your nominations below. You can either place this paper in the offering plate or the Deacon mailbox by September 1, 2014. Thank you for your prayerful consideration. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ DEACON NOMINATIONS: (only married couples who are members) __________________________________________________________ __________________________________________________________ What gifts do you feel this couple(s) exhibits to fulfill the role of Deacons?
