Denver Dry - ALTERATIONS• 1898 – Extension along

California Street• 1906 – 6-Story annex which

extended the building along the entire block of California Street

• 1924 –Two floors added to original structure

• These additions made Denver Dry Goods the largest department store west of the Mississippi River

Denver Dry - REHABILITATION

• PURCHASED BY JONATHON ROSE COMPANIES - Early 1990’s, The project utilized 23 sources of financing, including a $75,000 grant from the Colorado State Historic Fund for façade restoration.

• MIXED-USE – 115,000 sq ft retail – 28,700 sq. ft. of office– 51 rental units– 66 for-sale residential units

• Exterior renovations removed over 30 layers of white paint to expose red brick, and limestone surface
