You will also need:4-1/8 yards for backing

- Read through all of the instructions before beginning.- All of the seam allowances are 1/4” unless otherwise noted.- Press seam allowances open unless otherwise noted. - Width of fabric (WOF) is equal to at least 42” wide.- Right sides together has been abbreviated to RST.- Remember to measure twice and cut once!

From Fabric A, fussy cut:six 11-3/4” squares

From Fabric B, cut:fi ve 6-1/2” x WOF strips. Sew together, end-to-end, then trim to yield: two 6-1/2” x 46-1/4” top/bottom inner borders two 6-1/2” x 45-1/2” side inner bordersfour 5-1/2” squaresone 2-3/4” x WOF strip. Subcut: sixteen 2-3/4” squares

From Fabric C, cut:fi ve 5-1/2” x WOF strips. Sew together, end-to-end, then trim to yield: two 5-1/2” x 46-1/4” top/bottom middle borders two 5-1/2” x 57-1/2” side middle bordersfour 5-1/2” squares

four 2-3/4” x WOF strips. Subcut: fi fty-four 2-3/4” squares

From Fabric D, cut:six 5-1/2” x WOF strips. Sew together, end-to-end, then trim to yield: two 5-1/2” x 56-1/4” top/bottom outer borders two 5-1/2” x 67-1/2” side outer bordersfi ve 2-3/4” x WOF strips. Subcut: seventy-two 2-3/4” squares

Step 1: From the 2-3/4” squares, gather:four Fabric B squaresnine Fabric C squarestwelve Fabric D squares

Arrange in fi ve rows of fi ve squares each, as shown in the Block Assembly Diagram. Sew the squares into rows, pressing the seams to the left in the odd numbered rows and to the right in the even numbered rows. Sew the rows togerther, pressing the row seams open. The pieced block should measure 11-3/4” square. Repeat to make six pieced blocks.

Step 2: Arrange the Fabric A panel squares and the pieced blocks together in four rows of three blocks each, referring to the Quilt Assembly Diagram. Sew the blocks into rows, pressing the seams toward the panel squares. Sew the rows together, pressing the seams open.

Step 3: Sew the Fabric B side inner borders to the sides of the quilt. Press the seams away from the quilt center. Sew the remaining inner borders to the top and bottom of the quilt. Press the seams away from the quilt center.

Step 4: Sew the Fabric C side middle borders to the sides of the quilt. Press the seams away from the quilt center. Sew the Fabric B squares to either end of the remaining middle borders, pressing the seams toward border. Sew to the top and bottom of the quilt. Press the seams away from the quilt center.

Step 5: Sew the Fabric D side outer borders to the sides of the quilt. Press the seams toward the border. Sew the Fabric C squares to either end of the remaining outer borders, pressing the seams toward the border. Sew to the top and bottom of the quilt. Press the seams away from the quilt center.

Your quilt is now complete! Baste, quilt, bind and enjoy!
