:- wall mart was open in 1962 by Sam Walton in Rogers,Arkanasas ,has become largest retail in the world with more than 4,600 store locations and approximately $ 1.25 million associate worldwide.After the death of Sam Walton in 1992 wall mart, continues to be successful reaching record annual save of $ 244.5 billion and earnings of $ 8.0 billion in fiscal 2003. The current leadership present challenges are maintaining this phenomenal growth. Wall mart Target “Bring It home to USA”After some time NBC news channel leaked a video in which they found clothing that been made abroad hanging on racks,under maid in USA ,sign in 11 wall mart stores,In addition the program showed a tape of children sweing at wall mart ,Bangladesh and they were under 14 years, which disobey child labour rule.A company official had also a surprise visit ,but they couldn’t find anything.then CEO David Glass sated I cant tell you today that illegal child labour hasn’t happened ,some place , some where ,all we can do is our best to prevent itMeanwhile ,wall mart beganing considering international explanation in march 1994 .The company baught 122 wool cloth stores .formely owned by wool worth crop .the l;argest single purchase wal-mart and in 2003,wall-mart ‘s international division was the second largest with respect to sales & lerning ,the almost 1,200 international location had $41 billion , In Sales abd ab operating profit $2 billion

culture .Rob Walton ,the company’s current chairman of the board says ,although wall mart has grown large ,we still focus daily on the culture and value established his Father Sam Walton.

• Sam Walton founded and build wal-mart around three basic beliefs “Respect for the individual ,service to our customers ,and striving for excellence”. wall mart slogan that “our people make respectily for and commitment to its employees.

• Mart Stores’s current president and CEO observes “Sam was never satisfied that prices were as low as they needed to be or that our product ‘s quality was as high as they deserved he believed in concept of striving for excellence before it become a fashionable concept.

• Three critical element in wall mart approach to customer services are the sundown rules.• Every day low prices is an other important operating philosophy .wal mart be lives that by

lowering mark up. It will earn more because of increased volume ..thereby bringing consumers added value for the dollar every day.

• While wall mart enjoyed phenomenal success there is no guarantee that it will continue to do so in the future.As the company ‘s 2003 annual report points out, preserving and advancing the every day low prices cocept and helping thousands of new associated to embrace the customer –centered wal-mart culture are essential for the company to continue growing.

SWOTIncrease the amount of hypermarkets, supermarkets in 50 states as well as connect to the private satellite systems

Create mission statements for all of the acquired companies and the different divisions of Wal-Mart

Use the Most Admired Company award as leverageto advertise the wide variety of merchandise  

   

Use the Buy American policy to advertise nationally how American Wal-Mart is

Increase minority sales through buying minority products and selling them in discount stores .

Use point-of-sale bar code scanning as leverage over competitors like Target  

Offer more merchandise that is not apart of the "Buy American" policy to attract more customers  

Find a solution to the monopoly that has been created and come up with a new concept to beat the problem.
