What a great Term of Music!

School Band The school band is taking shape and starting to play through some fun songs every Thursday morning. It’s not too late for you to join us in Term 3. We still have availability for students to play trombone, trumpet, clarinet, saxophone and flute. Instruments can be hired from the school at $22.00 per term and a group lesson costs $15.00 a week with a qualified tutor. Ukuleles! We have also been enjoying a term of seeing new faces come along for a play and a sing. There will be some changes next term. Ukulele will continue as a lunch time activity next term with a few changes. We are after students from Years 1 to 6 who are committed to coming every lunch time so we can improve our skills together and learn more songs to be able to perform. Students will have weeks 1 and 2 of Term 3 to decide if they will be part of this dedicated group. (This week there will be no ukulele on Thursday as Mrs Savage is attending the CAPA performance at the high school). For further information about band or ukulele group contact Mrs Savage [email protected]
