A N N U A L R E P O R T 2015

What a great year of giving we had in 2015!

Thanks to all of you, we provided warmth and comfort to 9,000 homeless community members in 2015. Together, we delivered 14,000

items of warm clothing across the USA.

In 2015, we expanded our outreach to 32 ski resorts in 12 states, engaging 500 youth volunteers in our cause.

Together with our partners, volunteers and supporters, we are changing the lives of our

youth volunteers and the homeless they serve. In the next five years, we will train 5,000 youth volunteers, who will donate 31,875 hours to help 50,000 community members in

need across the USA and beyond.

We have learned that you are never too young to make a difference!

OUR MISSION

At Warm Winters, we believe that every homeless person deserves access to warm clothing. Youth Founded and Youth Driven, we harness the power of youth to

provide these items.

3.5 million Americans experience homelessness each year. 35% of these are

families with children. The lack of warm clothing, clean socks and personal care items leads to

• Frostbite and hypothermia

• Deep bone infections and sepsis

• Neuropathic ulcers

• Inability to administer self-care

• Barrier to re-entry

• death

By providing homeless community members with warm clothing, clean socks and personal care items, we are removing an issue

from their lives, allowing them to focus on overcoming homelessness rather than focusing on trying to stay warm and

survive another night.

Partnering with ski resorts around the world, our youth volunteers deliver unclaimed lost and found clothing to local homeless shelters, providing warmth

and comfort to our homeless community members. Confident that today’s youth are capable of incredible acts of kindness, we are committed to changing their

lives and the lives of the homeless they serve.

Our Mission KEY PROGRAMS

Warm Winters is known as a youth volunteer organization that provides warm clothing to the homeless, but we are evolving into a comprehensive organization focused on training youth leaders to make a difference in their communities. We provide the means, methods and materials necessary to train our volunteers to be strong social entrepreneurs, genuinely changing their lives and the lives of the homeless they serve.

Ski Resort Lost and Found Donation Program

Our youth volunteers pick up the unclaimed lost and found clothing from our ski resort partners

across the USA, clean and sort the items, then bring them to homeless shelters.

Personal Care Products Donation Program

Our youth volunteers do personal care product drives at their schools, churches and

community center. We also received generous product grants from several

manufacturers, providing much-needed personal care items for homeless teens and

families.

Our Mission KEY PROGRAMS

Warm Winters is on a mission to change the world with the next generation of youth volunteer leaders. We believe that anyone can make a difference, and

we can show you how easy it is!

Sock / Underwear Drive Program

Doing a sock or underwear drive is a great way for us to engage younger volunteers, who can learn

community service by collecting socks at their schools, churches and community centers.

Youth Volunteer Development

Our mission is to train youth leaders to make a difference in their communities. We

change the lives of our youth volunteers and the people they serve. JOIN US in changing

the world!
