Warren County Water District provides water and sewer service throughout the Warren County area. The district clearly understands the importance of education and the need to foster success of future water and sewer utility professionals. In that regard, we are offering a $1,000 scholarship to assist a high school senior to further his or her education. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years if the recipient maintains eligibility requirements.

1. Application must be postmarked no later than April 1.2. Applicant must:

a. Be a resident of Warren County,.b. Be a dependent of a Warren County Water District Customer.c. Be graduating from Greenwood High School, South Warren High School,

Warren East High School, Warren Central High School, Bowling Green HighSchools, home school, private school or any future public school in WarrenCounty.

d. Enroll at Western Kentucky University or SKYCTC.e. Have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0.f. Complete a current FAFSA report.g. Seek a degree in one of the following fields of study:

օ Engineeringօ Environmental Scienceօ Biologyօ Chemistryօ Architectural & Manufacturer Sciences (Drafting or AutoCAD)օ Agricultureօ Public Healthօ Businessօ Accountingօ Water Utilities Management

h. Maintain one of the repuired fields of study throughout their post-secondaryacademic career to remain eligible.

3. Students who receive scholarships from other sources with total amounts equalto full tuition or above will not be eligible for the WCWD Scholarship.

4. Relatives of the WCWD staff and board will not be eligible for this scholarship.

When this scholarship application and essay are completed, please send to the WKU College Heights Foundation at the address listed below. FAFSA reports should be completed online and forwarded to WKU. All scholarship applications that are submitted by the due date will be evaluated by the College Heights Foundation selection staff.
