The Port
Neches Art Walk was
setup on Port Neches
Avenue on October
14, 2017. It was an
event where all Port
Neches Middle School
art students dis-
played their work for
the town.
The students’
art work wasn’t for
sale, but the pieces
of art that the stu-
dents made were so
beautiful that people
offered to buy them.
There was
also live music and
food to eat there.
Vendors from
the area had booths
lining the streets with
a variety of products
including; jewelry,
clothes, crafts, and
paintings.
Other artists
were there as well,
including a man who
was paralyzed. In-
stead of painting with
his hands, he painted
with a helmet on his
head.
Thank you
Mrs. Shields and Mr.
Nesmith for arrang-
ing this day.

Happy Thanksgiving!
Port Neches Middle School is blessed with
wonderful students, faculty and staff. There is
plenty of thankfulness to go around. So we have
asked several students in each grade what they
were thankful for. Some people said that they
were thankful for something as simple as a
phone. Some said they were thankful just to be
alive. But hey, enough talk, here are
the names and answers listed below.

Wanna hear when the
next book fair is? It will be
on January 22nd through the

We also had a com-
ment from one of the buyers
at the book fair. Luke Hud-

thumbs up!
The book fair was a
success! It was the best
one Port Neches Middle
School has ever had! Over
4,000 books were sold.
The top selling books were
the graphic novels. The
second top seller was the
scented bear erasers.
