Fully functional, integrated weighbridge system which will:
• Enrol existing & new customers by name, access card, finger print, account no., billing details, vehicle license plate, and tare weight. The proposed Waste Watch solution will provide for the integration of access card hardware to electronically capture tare weights of vehicles, y p g ,removing an manual intervention. A wide range of communication links (GPRS, Wireless, Ethernet and fibre) between the local weighbridge’s and the other sites is provided, linking to Pikitup’s HO IT systems. These communication links allow over 99.95% availability to automated database update in real time for accurate and reliable billing purposes. This is essential for the provision for a block out system; ensure non paying customers are prevented from having access

Fully functional, integrated weighbridge system which will:
• The database provides standardised weighbridge tariffs of Rx per 1000 kg inclusive of VAT and integrates with Pikitup’s current Venus Financial system / SAP. The database stores tare weights of the accountholder vehicles and allows real time update of all data as required. The ability to identify p q y youtside parameter tare weights and force the vehicle to be reweighed ensures no illegal tare weights are permitted (where a tare weight is obtained with a vehicle filled with water). The database allows for the determination of an unlimited waste characterisation by allowing for a multiple of different waste categories to be captured. A wide range of automated reports for ease of analysis and reporting can be created and is demonstrated.

SYSTEM OPERATION: NEW USER
Enrol using the Pikitup’s web site or on arrival on site or at the HO. Provide billing details, license plate no’s of vehicles, name, contact details, no of vehicles etc. Select how to paydetails, no of vehicles etc. Select how to pay (debit from credit card) or on account or cash etc. User selects how they want to receive the account, weekly, monthly, on exit, by SMS or via the web site or via E-Mail. Field created for an image of the vehicle, plus driver image, weight, etc. User selects if they wish to use an access card (cost for this) or fingerprint (free) linked to a code or all 3 access control systems.

EXISTING USER• Enters site, load is captured and recorded (if an open
vehicle). If closed, records an image of the vehicle. Approaches weigh bridge; 6M from the boom vehicle license plate is captured from both front and rear. The license plate number is sent to the database. If no license

If a truck, uses higher access reader. Driver could then, swipe a card OR enter a pin (account no) OR place his finger on the reader or do a combination of all three. Once the weight of the vehicle is captured and the type of waste determined, boom on the exit open and driver can enter the site.

Deduction occurs automatically and the vehicle does not need to exit over the weigh bridge.
