TIME TO CHANGE DENTURES? If you've had your present dentures

for severed years and they don't fit as well as they should, you should con- sider getting a new set. Dentures that do not fit properly not only cause prob- lems in eating, they can also affect your appearance.

One test of this is to study your face in the mirror. If you've been wearing the same dentures too long you may have deeper wrinkles around your mouth than need be. This can also affect the shape of your lips. A jutting chin and pronounced pouches on either side of the lower jaw are other signs.

These are just a few of the prob-

lems that may be caused by worn and ill-fitting dentures. Normally the shape of the mouth changes slowly over a period of time, but dentures may also take their toll in loss of supporting bone, eating difficulties, and other problems. They should be properly fitted to your mouth to maintain the shape of your face and not make you look older than your years.
