water .

World water supply and distribution

22% of worldwide water use is industrial. Major industrial users include hydroelectric dams, thermoelectric power plants .

8% of worldwide water use is for household purposes.Recreational , Environmental , etc.

Water pollution is one of the main concerns of the world today.

Sewage, sludge, garbage, and even toxic pollutants are all dumped into the water

In future, even more water will be needed to produce food because the Earth's population is forecast to rise to 9 billion by 2050 .

more than 1.2 billion, live in areas of physical water scarcity.To avoid a global water crisis, farmers will have to strive to

increase productivity to meet growing demands for food .
