Spider Drippers

The IssueThe spider sprinkler irrigation system is not working properly. E.Y students are un-screwing the heads off the spider drippers where the water comes out. Therefore they are flooding and not watering the plants properly.

Ideas1. Make bottle sprinklers. These are

sustainable, cheap, waters the plants well and is hard for kids to break.

2. Nicola takes each early years class out where the spider drippers are. She tells them that if they damage the sprinklers again, they will be told by a BTB to sit out for the rest of the break.

The Solution! Our solution is for Nicola to take

each class out to the spider dripper area. She explains to them how they are important and says that if they are seen by a BTB or a teacher un-screwing the heads off, they will sit out for the rest of the break or be punished accordingly.

Back up Plan Our back up plan is to make some

bottle sprinklers which are very sustainable, D.I.Y and waters the plants well. This will keep them growing healthy in our school environment.
